The hotel situated perfectly in Mala Strana, very close to the castle and in a quiet and picturesque neighborhood. If you are in good shape, the walk up the hill is no big deal. The rooms are average. Bed was nice, the bathroom very basic and with a broken hairdryer. After telling the staff about it, it was NOT fixed.... More

It's my second visit to Prague and second stay at the hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is just a walk away from the most popular landmarks in Prague, yet the price was amazingly low. About 100 meters up the street you can walk through a romantic park and have a drink at a nearby Kafe'.

The location is really GREAT!!! Very central!! Quiet area, 10 min from the city centre (from the famous Charles Bridge), 3 min from the castle on foot. The owner is very kind. The hotel taxi service is really very good! This B&B is really good value for money: the bedroom was simple but fully equipped. Breakfast simple and good.

We had a long stay (10 days) in this Golden Horse bed & breakfast and we can say that the location is perfect to visit all Praha by foot (as we did) or by buses/metro. The accomodation was really fine. Breakfast was very good.

Hi guys:) i was not sure re this place since i have read all reviews about it on TripAdvisor:), BUT... I was absolutely pleased with everything in this hotel. !!! Thanks to Alex and his friendly way to run business!! Well, the hotel is all clean. Beds (at least mine, on 3rd floor) are 100% comfortable. I even jumped at... More

The beds aren't too clean if you lift up the mattress but no bugs just dirt and some food. However it was only 60 euros a night. The room is clean but you are not provided with fresh towels daily and your room is not made up which i didn't like. You are provided with a breakfast which includes warm... More

This place used to be a hole in the wall deal in the early 2000. Now, the owner has become money hungry and has a regular habit of overbooking the rooms and telling the guests at the last minute to move to other rooms upstairs where the quality is compromised. The rooms on the first and second floors are the... More

We spend 3 days with my boyfriend in Prague and we were quite happy about the accommodation. The house is very cozy, quiet, clean, location perfect - but overpriced comparing to other parts of the town, there were computers with internet on every floor, nice breakfast in the morning with fresh pastry. The room was avarage, Tv only in german,... More

The Golden Horse is a 16th Century House converted into a B&B. The accommodations are very simple but it is clean and the location is fantastic. It is situated in the old part of the city within easy walking distance of everything and close to embassies and expensive hotels. It is not really romantic and there are no real services... More

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
