It's a average hostel in the central place of the city. The doorman was helpful, the cleanliness of the hostel is normal, the street is dirty. The rooms is normal too, like in a hostel, but the bed was so bad: loud and uncomfortable. The wi-fi is avalible only in the main building. And our biggest problem: When we waked... More

The hotel is not easy to find because is inside a courtyard where there are other two hostels. It looks like a private building, but it's clean and good looking. The staff speaks good English and is really friendly! I suggest staying only for two-three nigths.

We paid 15€ per person per night for a private room with private bathroom, two comfortable beds and a friendly staff, what more to ask for? The hostel is located in a backyard so it was quiet at night, it was clean and well-secured, and you can reach the city center in 10 mins walk, I warmly recommend it!

The hotel is at the heart of the city and very close to metro station. And this is the only advantage. Room or service quality was average. No shampoo, slippers or hair dryers in the rooms. Breakfast was so-so.. And many teenagers making noise at inappropriate times (I'm not sure if it was a uniqe situation, but at my time,... More

Well located and reasonable standard compared to price, however still quit worn out. This hotel is preferred by schools and night noise/activity can be/was significant. Check before booking if schools are present or make sure they live on a different floor.

Had a three person room which was ok regarding the size with a (in contrast) large bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful and they offer parking on the hostels terrain. Prices however are quite expensive as it's only a hostel. Beds were utterly bad with old mattresses with dents in them. The hostel is located near a few metro... More

Excellent location: close to everything, transports, bar, supermarket nearby; nice staff; clean and quiet; Beds could be improved, and towels be larger but it's still worth the price and I would definitly come back.

Not luxury, but clean and functional. The location is perfect, as it is within walking distance from center, and it is also close to highway, tram, metro.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
