Me and my boyfriend stayed here after getting a great deal, we stayed in Eurostars David few years ago on our last visit which is 3 star and thought with this being 5 star, it had to be better. The only thing it is better for is location. The hotel inside looks lovely and the rooms are very clean and... More

This was a lovely hotel at a great price. The room was spacious, modern, with a great bed and many aminities (fridge, shower, bathtub, desk, safe) . It needed more lighting I felt in closet area. Wifi was fast and effective. Breakfast included and good. Location was great, very easy to navigate around old town from the Hotel and return... More

This is a great hotel in a fantastic location. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were spacious and modern. The bed was huge although slightly hard. WiFi was fast and throughout the hotel. The best thing about the hotel was the location. Within walking distance of all of Prague's main attractions. We found some great restaurants just down... We tried this hotel (I mean me and my team) as we got a tip that it is very good. Lobby is very nice and people very kind first of all. I stayed in a Deluxe room and the room itself is very nice and the bathroom wow very beautiful and clean. Breakfast is amazing with a great choice, we... More

We stayed here for 2 nights begining of January. It's prices were more reasonable compared to others. If you want a bathtub you need to mention upfront. The rooms are not too big, decorated in dark colors. The bed is comfy. There is kettle tea coffe in the room as can be expected. In The bathroom no cotton pads or... More

Not a bad hotel. It's good for Spanish people who don't speak English because most of the staff is Spanish. It's near the centre, although the neighbourhood is not top. It takes about 15 minutes by tram to get to the train station.

Great location. Room was modern and clean. Queen size bed. Would definitely stay again. Stayed in room 317, would recommend this room, it was on a high floor so no noise from the street. It was at the back of the hotel. Breakfast was buffet. Good choice of food. Dodgy looking bacon and sausages like the rest of Europe!!!

I had to go there often for work and they always made sure I had the best room possible. All staff members were caring and nice. Breakfast is a bit poor but the quality of the rooms is really good. The air conditioning of some rooms can be a bit noisy sometimes.

I would only give this hotel 2-3 star though I didnt have any bad experience with staff or whatsoever. The reason is just to be fair. Personally I believe service/infrastructure is the key to any five star hotel which Thalia doesnt have at all. 1. location: 5 star. anyhow Prague downtown is pretty small so most hotels have the same... Liked: * Location is excellent * Friendly and helpful service * Free Wifi Didn't like: * Breakfast uninspiring * Rooms pretty basic, but functional. Not a "romantic" or "charming" place, but it does the job

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
