Best hotel I stayed in in Prague. Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed here twice, last time during the Icelandic volcano eruption. (I know this review is a bit late.) Other hotels took advantage of this and upped their prices for stranded tourists but not Verona, they let us stay there for the same rate as the one we already... More

All in the room was perfect. I strongly recommend you on your journey to Prague. Located near the metro and the mall Palladium (where you can buy everything and of course to eat) and you can get very comfortable in the city. I personally found it very romantic as the hotel and I liked it too despite some problems. For example,... More

Sometimes the people are who makes the stay extra special. My husband and I have stayed from gorgeous high end rooms to hole in the wall hostels, and through our travels Residence Verona holds a special place in our heart. First off, everyone was more than friendly. Second for the fabulous price you get a spacious room. Third, it's a... More

I am writing this review as before i went i read some reviews on here which made me very apprehensive before i arrived. Firstly i found no problems with cleanliness in our room, in fact it was spotless, all the rooms are suites with at least a double bed and a sofa bed. The staff were helpful although their English... The best experience I can remember having at a hotel. Victor, the owner, was very nice and even left a surprise birthday gift in my room after seeing my passport dates. The room was very clean and comfortable and it was close enough to the places I wanted to go that it was very convenient. Free breakfast was included. I... More

I should have been wary about this hotel when they wanted full payment for two nights stay on checking in. I paid but regret doing so. The desk clerk was very irritable. The room was not particularly clean. Some of the basic amenities were missing (like soap), which they did supply after asking. The worst of the room was the... More

The photos and description gave us a high expectation of a 4 star suite in a converted mansion. The rooms were spacious, and its about 10 mins walk to Republic Sq and 15 to Old Town SQ so quite a good location. But that is the end of the good news. The service is poor eg. their credit card machine... More

Four stars? How generous! The hotel is well located but service is awful; no telephone, no wi-fi, no towels for bath!! Breakfast is strange: a mix of things you don’t usually eat at morning. If you are going to Prague, search another hotel!

Towels are old and only changed twice a week if you are lucky. during our stay only one of the badtowels was changed, the appartment wasnt... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
