We stayed at the hotel for four nights. The hotel is in a great location overlooking Prague and is about a twenty minute walk to the Old Town and to Charles Bridge. The grounds of the hotel were nice with benches to sit on and stare at the view. At first we were a little bit disappointed in our room... More

This hotel is located near the Strahovsky klaster, so you have to walk up the hill from the Charles Bridge. However, the view from the room window is wonderful, you can see the Prague Castle, especially in the early morning with sun. And the hotel staff is very friendly. I had a lot of good useful information. Thank you!

if you don't mind stairs, this was a charming place to stay. Amazing views and the hotel staff was extremely friendly andf helpful. Location was wonderful and quiet at night. There were several great places to have dinner within walking distance. Would stay here again.

We have just stayed here recently for a short break - absolutely fantastic. Recommend for a romantic break for 2 or even a energetic break for a sporty couple. As the Monastery is on a hill there are fantastic views and sloping walks to undertake. The Petrin Tower is a brisk walk up the hill or the Castle is a... More

This is a hotel on the top in many ways. You are on the top of the hills with a fantastic view of the Prague...but you are also in a hotel with top staff. Everything was working great from check in to check out.(even after checked out) We got a lot of help from the lady in the reception about... More

What a wonderful stay my wife and I had while visiting Prague during the week of 13-19 April. We picked the Residence Monastery based off of reviews we saw on Trip Advisor, and could have been happier with our stay there. The hotel was well organized with pamphlets on what to do in Prague, the public transportation schedules, as well... More

Loved it! Got 3 rooms for family members. Liked the quiet neighborhood and close location to the Palace. Front desk person Andrea was fantastic! Went above and beyond with all of our requests, and overall she couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. She really made our stay memorable.

Good hotel with local touch, good service and unique view…over PRague - good to have a car to get here…YOu are about 1,5 km from the Karls-bridge and inner city so you are not in the middle of the "noisy City center" but close to the main gardens and historic area on Mala Starna..

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
