We stayed in the 36-bed dorm and was happily surprised when we entered. It's fresh and clean with every bed having its own lamp and outlet. It may have one to few showers but the ones that are there are all good. The hostel in itself sometimes feels like a hotel but without lacking the typical vibe of a hostel.... More

I followed TripAdvisor recommendation and booked my stay at Czech Inn. It was a great choice! Some previous reviews stated it was too far from the center, but with the tram right there you can be in the thick of things in no time. I enjoyed being in a more "local" neighborhood. But the best part of all was the... More

Great value for anyone on a budget. It's not in the centre of the tourist area, but the tram 22 stops directly outside and connects you well. Rooms are stylish and very clean. Information is readily available from reception and what isn't there, they are generally happy to get back to you on. Would recommend using the Airport Express and... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Czech Inn hostel in Prague for four days last week and had an amazing experience. The hostel is modern, clean and very hospitable. The staff were always prepared to help and were extremely friendly. The Basement Bar is definitely an asset. Czech beers at a great price in a very cosy setting. Breakfast... More

Awesome experience staying here. Gorgeous rooms, bathrooms, really clean, the bar is amazing as well and service is just great! Eco friendly and hip place for sure. And so cheap!!! Not too close to the centre though, but taxi costs nothing either.

During my stay here I was in a room with eight people total. The beds were comfortable and I enjoyed having a personal sink and mirror in the room. The outlets were decently spread out, but one might have to get creative with sharing them with a room with strangers. The bathrooms were okay, but due to the guests the... More

This was no less than a hotel. Travelling in a group of 9 people, we fortunately for a 10 bed mixed dorm, and the entire floor had enough washrooms and showers available. Although the hostel doesn't have a foosball table, wifi is okayish, but the security is good. At the end of the trip, 4 of us had to extend... More

Wonderful stay. Clean and cozy. Would highly recommend it to anyone. We stayed here as a group of 15 and couldn't have asked for more. Very likely to go back next time in Prague. Not in the center, but close enough. Tram right outside. 10 - 12 min to city center.

This is by far the fanciest hostel I have ever stayed while simultaneously one of the cheapest! The paid-for buffet breakfast is a great place to meet people and it is a very nice start to the day. You could probably find something slightly cheaper if you wanted to be frugal, but it wouldn't be nearly as good or convenient.... More

Staying in Vinohrady & Vrsovice

Neighborhood Profile
Vinohrady & Vrsovice
Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighborhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.
