We travelled in Jan 2014, for 6 days in King Charles Boutique Residence. The transfer is extremely short from the airport, although the hotel is very unassuming from the outside (in fact if our transfer driver had not shown us the door, we would have never know which was our hotel!) the reception is very grand, lovely antique style furniture... Dear Emma, Thank you very much for staying with us and for posting such a nice feedback here on Trip Advisor. We are glad to hear that you liked our decor and furniture and yes, we do have a marble in each room (pink, black, white or light brown). The Jacuzzi is now only a paid option in some rooms,... More

We were booked for five nights at King Charles Boutique commencing on Sunday 26th January and leaving 31st of January. We booked on lastminute.com and paid up front. I contacted the hotel the week before our trip asking for directions from the airport, to which they replied immediately saying how much they were looking forward to our stay with them.... More

Stayed for weekend. Breakfast sparse and hotel dated although clean. Very communist era feel and outside the buildings around the hotel were run down. For 2 women alone It felt unsafe to be out there at night. Across the road you can get a tram (tickets from reception) to the old town and Wenceslas square etc. about 3 stops is... More

Dear janet l, Thank you very much for staying with us and for sharing your experience with TripAdvisor community. I regret to hear that you feel insecure in the city, as Prague is a very safe place. We spent amazing weekend in this hotel, everything was great. We can recommend this place for everyone. This hotel has a good localization, it is really close to city center. King Charles Boutique has a high level of accomodation.

We had a very nice stay here during Christmas 22-29 Dec. The reception staff very helpful. The room was nice, a little bit to small, but clean and quiet. The breakfast was great!!! Very close to the old town (10 by tram or 30 walking). We will stay here again if we will come to Prague! Thank you for welcoming... More

Bit off the beaten track. Room and bathroom okay but no mention was given that the rooms backed onto a railway line!! Rather surreal in a lot of ways - somewhat back in the '50's. We got down to breakfast (which was not plentiful) 15 minutes before they were finishing service and literally had to grab what we could as... More

We stayed here for a week. Great value for money: the rooms are large with good beds, breakfast does not lack variety (from blue cheese and custard pie to all the usual stuff like cereal, ham, bread and butter), location is good (city center is 15 minutes by tram or metro or 30 walking) and there's free mulled wine at... We stayed here for a long weekend whilst visiting prague. The place is very warm and welcoming and cosy. The room was average and the bathroom was clean. We didn't like the two single duvets on the bed and when the room was cleaned in the morning it wasn't cleaned very well leaving empty bottles around the room. The breakfast... More

Stayed here with my parents, my sister and her boyfriend. This hotel has a discreet exterior but the owners really make the most of the impressive entrance hall. You are also given a welcome drink on arrival. It's only five/ten minutes away from the centre of the town by tram but far enough away from the tourist traps for you... More
