All of the 5-star reviews are absolutely correct. This is THE place to stay when in Prague, and one of the best hotel experiences I have had anywhere. Upon arrival, Marek met us and walked us through all of the dining options and evening events in the city, followed by a great walking tour of the surrounding neighborhood. The accommodations... Arcadia Residence is no question the place you should stay if you go to Prague. It is located right next to the old town square and is coincidentally in a great location. The whole city is walking distance from here. Marek was extremely nice and helpful: My mom arrived 6 hours before me, and he met her at the airport... More

I would never stay anywhere else in Prague! We traveled all over Europe and Arcadia was the best place and experience we had! Marek was extremely helpful from before we arrived until we left. He arranged for our transportation from the train terminal, gave us an orientation tour of the area, made dinner reservations multiple times, made arrangements for our... More

This is our first time in Prague. Arcadia Residence was recommended to us by friends and how grateful we are for the tip. From the booking to being meet at Praha Hlavni was seamless. We arranged a transfer which proved wise as whilst the accommodation is not far from the station it's a long way to drag cases over cobble... More

This is our second time in Prague and we had no hestiation in staying at Aracadia Residence, we stayed in the Attic which is just superb. Both Mareks go out of their way to make sure you are well attended to in all respects. If we ever visit Prague again this is the only place to stay.

This has been my best hotel experience ever. The two Mareks go out of their way to offer their help - recommending, reserving and escorting us to restaurants. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed - you could cook a meal in one if you wanted. Incredibly generous breakfasts served in your room. The Old Town location is wonderful: hidden away,... More

Arcadia Residence is excellenty situated for the tourist. The rooms (more like apartments) are spacious and well equipped for those who wish to indulge in a little self catering. Marek is a star and a most helpful advisor in all aspects of visiting Prague.

Not sure what more can be said than what is already in the numerous 5* reviews. Superb service – Pasquale and the two Mareks (Marks) are perfect hosts – warm, gracious and personable. One bedroom flat was enormous and comfortable. Breakfast was great. They even surprised me on the morning of my birthday by including a decadent chocolate torte and... More

The experience began with a pickup from the bus station, very professional in a beautiful Mercedes van. We arrived at our hotel and Merck was waiting outside for us with a rose for me. The experience only got better after that. Beautiful and very large one bedroom apartment. Merck explained everything and took us on a short orientation of the... More

We stayed ar the Arcadia residence in June and LOVED everything about the place. The apartment is spacious and clean. The location is perfect as it's right in the heart of Olde Town and the host was simply amazing! Starting our visit to Prague with a very nice basic tour of Old Town providing great information about the area and... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
