My wife and adult children stayed at the Arcadia Residence in Prague in December 2015 and I would go as far as to say that this accomodation was one of our best ever experiences and we have travelled quite a bit. Not only was the apartment huge and well appointed but it was also ideally located literally in the centre... More

I can't speak highly enough about our stay at Arcadia. Myself, my wife and our 4 month old we're visiting the Xmas markets which were amazing but the experience was made all the better for staying at Arcadia. We were picked up and dropped out to the airport in luxurious S-Class Mercs (€25 each way) and met at the roadside... More

No exaggeration. Taken as a whole, Pasquale Gusmano and his Arcadia Residence is the best place I've ever stayed at in my 50 years of traveling. The biggest question is how does he stay in business with all the services he provides at the moderate price he charges? Pasquale runs seven units in his apartment building as an amazing B&B.... Once in a great while, when something seems too good to be true, it is that good. Such was the case with the Arcadia Residence. My wife and I stayed 4 nights in a one bedroom flat in early November, 2014. The low-season price of 90 euros per night was extremely reasonable. The apartment was large--I would guesstimate around 600... More

We have just returned from a three night break, staying in the attic room at Arcadia. We came here four years ago and stayed in an apartment on the fourth floor, which was lovely. However, the attic room is something else. It is stunning, huge, has amazing views of the clock tower and cathedral. We have stayed in a lot... More

This being our first time in Prague, we planned our stay at the Arcadia Residence half a year in advance after having read that the rooms sell out fast; after our visit, we could definitely see why this was the case. Upon arrival, the owner Pasquale was already there to greet us and he ushered us into his office where... More

I've just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay at Arcadia, this was my second visit and I doubt it will be my last. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the attic room, which was amazing, so much space, beautiful view,I guess perfect sums it up. Pasquale was there to meet us and it was like visiting an... More

We had a wonderful time in these pristine, wonderfully located apartments. Our host Pascuale and Marek could not do enough to make us feel welcome. Breakfasts were excellent - we struggled to do justice to them! The location is ideal, so close to all the wonderful sights and sounds of Prague. Our Attic apartment was genuinely fabulous - huge, airy,... More

People, do not even think twice - that IS the place to stay in Prague. I have traveled the world and that the best accommodation i have ever; may be its not the 5 star hotel, but its much better. Allow me to start with the fact that upon arrival to the street where the car stopped next to the... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
