I'm staying in a lovely room at the top of this hotel right now. It's even better than I expected and a steal for the price. The neighborhood is filled with charm as is this hotel. And everything is within walking distance. If coming by car, there's a convenient parking garage across the river. It's perfect!

We went in for a late supper. I asked the waitress for her suggestions of authentic Czech food and we had three very unpromising dishes arrive that were totally delicious! Yum yum yum! After 3 wonderful pints of local beer (between us!) we took her suggestion of local brandies. Delicious! Then we asked for the bill. Less than £15 for... More

Charming and convenient location; very large room comfortable beds with plenty of pillows and a modern heated bathroom; super friendly and helpful staff- thank you Bianca, who welcomed us and Jana who guided us to make the most of our visit. A huge ++ is the abundant included buffet breakfast. The restaurant has a menu with daily specials of delicious... More

We passed the Lokal as we were near Charles Bridge and thought we would get a drink. Once inside there were several rooms to sit in and it was quite busy and seemed a popular place with the local Czech people. We decided to get some food as everyone else's looked nice. My partner and I both loved our meals... More

We stayed here for 6 nights and really enjoyed it. The room we had was right above the bar but it didn't bother us because the bedroom area was quiet. The size of the room was awesome. We traveled with another couple so it was nice to have the living room area to relax in after walking around all day.... More

I stayed here for 3 nights with my husband. Great rooms with everything you would need. We asked for a quiet room and were placed on the top floor, was very quiet despite the restaurant/bar below being busy all of the time. Highly recommend this for its location and fantastic service would definitely stay again.

Reservation service was great, complete with live chat on their website that helped deal with any questions. Check in was smooth, friendly and professional. The rooms were quaint, clean and comfortable. The walk to the Charles Bridge is only a couple of minutes. The beer was good and the food was excellent. The ground floor restaurant was smoky but there... More

Besides having a great restaurant down below the hotel, it's a great and clean place with large rooms. The morning breakfast was wonderful and it's nice to come home and have a great beer at night. Right near Charles bridge and John Lennon wall. Irs also close to the palace

First of all this is an inn, not a hotel. If you want room service, laundry facilities, porters, a concierge, etc. then don't stay here. However, it you want large comfortable rooms, full of history, a location practically beside the Charles bridge, simple but friendly service, etc. then this is the place for you. We fell into the latter category... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
