Great location by the Náměstí Republic square, first stop for the Airport Express bus and with walking distance to everything in the city. The old town square is just 10 away by foot from the hotel. Rooms are small but definitely good for just sleeping and taking a shower after a day out on the town. Bed is slightly hard... More

If you are visiting Prague on a personal tour and do not plan on using the perks of a five star hotel -- the Ibis near Old town Prague will be an excellent choice. Just stayed there for three nights with my teen boys and we really enjoyed hoe clean and efficient the hotel was. Oh, and the staff were... More

We stayed for 4 nights during easter. The staff are friendly and the hotel is near the palladium so you can access all sights easily. But during those 4 nights the bedding was not being changed. And they didn't left any card to tell the housekeeper to change them. Even the water you should pay for it. The prices are... More

Our second stay at this hotel, this time for pleasure (if you call a half-marathon pleasurable)! The hotel itself is centrally located, close to all the main attractions Prague has to offer. The rooms are a pretty decent size and spotlessly clean, whilst breakfast is excellent, with a wide choice of food available. The bar is well stocked and staffed... More

We stayed here at the end of March for three nights, while running the Sportismo Prague Half marathon. The hotel is perfectly situated on the city centre. Very close to all of the tourist attractions. On arrival we were asked if we were here to run. On answering yes the friendly staff advised that there would be a small reception... More

The hotel is nice and clean; we had a quiet room and can let the window open at night. The room is small but ok for two with less lugagge. The breakfast is definitely not worth the price. The underground car park is an impertinance! The way down is like a corkscrew and because it is really extremly narrow it... More

Being in Prague as a tourist, the ideal place to stay for some days. Centrally located close to the nicest architectual monuments, shopping zone and the heart of the city: the Vaclavske namesti. The hotel seems to be small from the front, but it is huge inside. Nevertheless, you can enjoy a pleasent stay in your hotel room: the bathroom... More

This is a good travellers' hotel and has all the usual facilities you would expect, but it's best not to plan a long stay here. Staff are pleasant and efficient, but disinterested. That's understandable as reception seems to be constantly busy. Bar staff on the ground floor are polite, pleasant and also efficient and the bar area is a good... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
