I highly recommend this hotel, situated in Old town. It was our first visit to Prague and very glad I chose this hotel. Its not a 5 star, room is adequate, (just need a place to sleep) , hotel is close to public transport and walking distance to many tourist places.

We stayed 2nights in early December as part of a Eastern European trip . Not our selection but part of the tour . The location is great but the hotel is very basic , the staff didn't seem too interested in anything that was an issue , our room was very small and had nowhere to put our cases .... More

We had a marvelous time here. The hotel was wonderful. The pricing is great. The breakfast was outstanding. The only issue I had was the parking. You can't park in front of the hotel so we had to park over 700 meters away and walk. We have a 1 year old and that was a far walk with her and... More

This hotel is very well located in Prag's old town. Only few minutes food walk to the astronomic clock and shopping malls. Everything is very clean and handy. Parking is available for a small fee. The stuff is kindly and competent. WLAN in room is for free. I really recommended this hotel for a long or short stay :-)

We wanted to have a break in the historic Old Town, and this Hotel was about a 5 minute stroll from the Old Town Square, but away from the noise and crowds. it was pretty much no frills, but spotlessly clean, and more than adequate for a short stay. We opted for the breakfast, which was brilliant; a big selection... More

It's located right in the middle of Prague, maybe a 3 min walk to the main square. Basic rooms bur comfortable. Good wifi. Complete breakfast buffet. Bar inside the hotel with wide variety of beers. Very friendly staff.

This was a lovely hotel with very comfortable rooms! It is in the center of the city allowing walking the city easy! Staff was very helpful and spoke English which was a blessing! I traveled with a friend with accessibility issues and overall the hotel met her needs with the exception of the bed not being high enough for her... More

We stayed two nights at the Modra Ruze. It is fantastically located between Wenceslas Square and the Old Town. I think there must have been a mix up with our reservation because we ended up with a virtual suite with high ceilings and windows on three sides! It was a great room (400) but there was a lot if noise... More

We booked this hotel thru the organización Accessible Europe/Accessible Prague because i have mobility problems and use a scooter. The hotel is in a fantastic location, the staff very helpful and the room was perfect except for the bed. The bed was a major problem because it was very low and the mattress so soft that I couldn't get up... More

We really liked this hotel. I agree with others that it does look a bit tired but it was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfy. The bathroom was spacious and contained a really good sized shower too. We had a room at the back for 3 and it was quiet - and as the hotel is in such a... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
