Green Lobster hotel exceeded our expectations. We stayed 2 nights, and originally booked a standard double room but was most pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded to the honeymoon suite in the building opposite the main reception. Both buildings are amongst the loveliest on the historic road (although v touristy as it was only a few steps away from the... More

when I read reviews like: "Best service I've ever seen!" I might be wrong..... but seems they dont change the bed sheet. I found some hairs that are obviously not mine. The room was colld by entering and it took about 2 hours to feel warm there (the heating was off for a longer time probably). Next day morning water... More

Excellent Hotel with really great service. The "assistant" of the hotel was very nice and helpful. When we told them we'd like to go to see the bone church outside Prague, not only did he print all the train schedules we needed, but also provided information regarding Kutna Hora(where the bone chruch is)! And he walked up 4 floors to... More

We were due to arrive late at night but it ended up being early in the morning, but there was still someone to greet us and show us to our room which was in the second building over the road. They even rang us 5 mins later to make sure we were ok. We were on the 3rd floor, and... More

Me and my boyfriend wanted to celebrate our fifth anniversary, and decided to book a stay at the Green Lobster hotel. We wanted the hotel to be as cozy, romantic and comfortable as possible within a reasonable price range and The Green Lobster more than met those demands! We arrived at the hotel early, about two hours before the check... More

We stayed at the Green Lobster for 4 nights in August. The hotel is on two sides of the street on Nerudova which as one of the guide books says “is one of the loveliest streets in Prague”. And boy is it! We were in the part of the hotel over the road from reception. On arrival we were given... More

My wife and I stayed at the Green Lobster Hotel Prague for 7 nights ( 02/06/08). Very impressed with location and room. We had the Rudolf 11 suite on the first floor overlooking the main street. Massive room with good decoration and facilities. Good comfortable four poster bed, ample size flat screen TV, safe, A/C unit, and fridge, large table... More

Stayed in the Green Lobster over Easter weekend and had a great time. Prague was beautiful and we thought the location of the Green Lobster was excellent being on the Castle side of the river. Like others have said before it is more like an upmarket guest house as you never see any staff around but we prefer it like... More

I have just returned from a 3 night break with my fella and my daughter(11). the hotel was beautiful. there is no reception area to speak of, so don't expect a grand entrance. but what is lacking there, is made up by the room. we had the acrimboldo (i think it was spelt) suite. this was a 2 bedroomed suite,... Just returned from a 2 night stay at the Green Lobster for my 40th birthday. This hotel is just beautiful. The hotel is spotless and the staff very polite and helpful. Upgraded to the honeymoon suite which was outstanding. Would highly recommend.

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
