This hotel was booked as part of a package deal for a last minute holiday. Had seen the reviews but wasn't too fussed as we weren't planning on spending much time in the room. Nice central location, the street looks a little rough with 2 sex shops near by, but it's really not and safe enough walking around at night.... More

We stayed 4 nights. The hotel is an easy walk to Wenceslas Square and very convenient to the tram, meaning you can get to all major attractions easily. Hotel staff are most helpful. Rooms are roomy with all required services. Excellent buffet breakfast. Would recommend and would stay again.

Arrived and was greeted by a very nice receptionist, ( pleasant, efficient and helpful.) We were located on 6th floor located in the central well. At first a bit disappointed as I had requested a room with a street view. However our Friends did get a room overlooking the street and said it can be noisy during the night, so... More

Spent 2 nights here on a city break and what a great hotel.... Good location with everything in walking distance. Spotlessly clean, friendly English speaking staff who checked us in quickly and without drama. Explained the facilities available to us.Clean comfortable room that gave us everything we needed. Organised our late checkout without hesitation and had our airport transfer awaiting... More

This hotel is situated within a few minutes walk to the famous Wenceslas Square. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant and bar, yet, it provide a mini bar for the room. Breakfast buffet is served by the hotel and juices and sandwiches are available for the guests during the day. The buffet is well stocked and gives the... More

Nice friendly hotel near old city centre with decent size room. I liked breakfast quality and spread. Only concern could be nearby clubs to some staying with young kids but no issues from security, noise or environment perspective.

Nice hotel. Good WiFi connection to Internet. Nice service. Expensive and limited parking space. Good location to sightseeing. Wait for special discount, the full price is not fair. Prefer room orientated out of main street.

We booked this hotel for a city break after researching TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. Its location is great with only a five minute walk to Wenceslas Square. Rooms are a reasonable size with super king size beds. Coffee and tea making in the room and also free wifi. We had a bed and breakfast deal. The buffet breakfast was... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
