This hotel is a hidden gem. Reasonable rates for Prague, which includes a bountiful breakfast served until 10:30 am. Everything in our room was new -- carpet, furnishings, bathroom. Pillows are great; beds on the firm side. Quiet HVAC (yay!). Friendly front desk. They offer a buffet dinner for an incredibly low price (under $10USD) which is limited in choices... More

We have just returned from a three night stay in the Archibald City Hotel in Prague. Booking in was fast and efficient and our room, although a bit on the small side was immaculately clean. Bathroom was also very clean with plenty of gels, shampoos etc - there was also a hair dryer which was good. Plenty of fluffy white... More

We stayed 3 nights on a city break. Location is good, 5 minute walk to old town, although we did have to pass a few cabaret/strip bars to get there, we didn't feel unsafe in any way. Reception staff were very helpful providing us with a adaptor as we came without our own. Spotless room and bathroom, lovely fluffy towels... More

Stayed here in March for a couple of days. Overall, the hotel is lovely. Staff are pleasant and friendly. Room was always kept clean and providing clean towels every day. Myself and ny partnet were a bit disappointed with the duvet as they gave you two small ones for the double bed rather than one big duvet. We rang reception... More

I would just like to highlight firstly that we were very impressed with the hotel itself - the room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was fresh with lots of choice and the location was good - approximate two minute walk down to the nearest tram station, otherwise a 15/20 minute walk into the old centre of Prague. If feeling... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
