A very good hotel in a pretty quiet area of Prague, close to the Charles Bridge. Very nice and serviceminded staff. Good and tasty breakfast. Pittoresque surrondings with severals resturants in a few minutes walk. The room was clean but the bed was a little too hard for my taste, but I could sleep anyway. Nice bathroom. The room has... This small hotel is in a fabulous location for accessing all the major attractions in Prague. Our room was very large and comfortable overlooking the canal and gardens of the French Embaasy. Buffet breakfast offered many choices. The staff were exceptionally friendly offering help and guidance and happy to make cups of tea during the day. Their knowledge of the... More

The hotel is located just steps from the Charles Bridge. It was a great location for sightseeing and dining. Monika (worked at the front desk) greeted us when we arrived. She was extremely helpful and always pleasant and we had a nice chat. Breakfast was very good and served in a pleasant room. I checked the rates in the vicinity... More

excellent location, clean en big room, nice staff, great breakfast. The shower has a weird habbit, changing the water temperature into hot/cold by surprise. Found the way around, but this habbit is usual in Prague.

Very nice hotel that was in a quiet area, but really close to the King Charles bridge. Lots of restaurants right by the hotel and Starbucks is a 7 min walk. Simple room that was clean and looked out the back of the hotel and onto a beautiful little canal. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Will be back.

I used a well known booking website to book this hotel, it wasn't the cheapest but it was cheap, just under £110 each for 5 nights. Being two women we wanted to stay very close to all the main 'attractions' because we didn't feel comfortable enough to use public transport at night, however the tram system is 2nd to none... More

Very good hotel. Especially good value in winter (I was there at the beginning of February). Excellent location, in a nice neighborhood, quiet but very close to the Charles Bridge. The gave me a double single use without surcharge: a beautiful room on the "Devil's Canal", with many windows. Good breakfast and nice staff. I had a small issue with... More

Stayed at the end of March and enjoyed it. Although its an older building and a looks like it hasn't had a refurb. for a few years it is well looked after and clean, and the staff are friendly. My room was on the top floor and I had a great view over the castle district. Breakfast was very reasonable... More

I ve just come back from a little break in Prague, and I stayed in this hotel. The location is perfect is about 100m from Charles Bridge, in a place called "Kampa", so it's in the heart of Prague. The hotel is not so big but is really clean and the staff is at your disposition every time of the... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
