I've been to Prague seven times and this was the best place I have stayed. Great location, in heart of everything but still quiet. The accommodations were wonderful as was the staff. Breakfast had everything you could ask for. And best of all, we got an unbelievable price. Highly recommended.

Following a trip to Prague last year, we decided to again book into this hotel as the location is excellent as well as having excellent staff who were so helpful and accommodation through the booking process and during the visit. Thank you Nathalie and Jindra. The breakfast buffet is very nice and more than sufficient to set you up for... More

I stayed here with a group and we had a great couple of nights. The breakfast was absolutely magnificent, the view of the river from the balconies and rooms was beautiful, and the staff were all incredibly welcoming. My one complaint is that the rooms were SO hot - we woke up sweating every morning.

To the Staff of the Kampa Garden. Thank you very much for making our stay so welcoming. We arrived late on Friday night (13th Feb) and straight away the welcome and greeting at reception was brilliant. The Breakfast Buffet is of a very good standard indeed but perhaps could do with a slight change of what's available on different days?... More

We stayed for a night here and absolutely loved it. We were worried that for only 40 Euros a night, it would be a dump or in a horrible part of town, but it was fantastic. Clean, charming rooms, a 2 minute walk from the Charles Bridge and 5 minutes from the trams/busses. Lovely little park and good restaurants all... More

I loved the breakfast the most. They had all I like, delicious coffee, pastry etc. The location is amazing! 3mins from the Charles bridge. And the receptionist Michaela was very helpful advising me where to go and how to get there. I be definitely back next time in Prague.

This hotel seems a wonderful secret. Clean and spacious rooms at a reasonable price. Excellent full course breakfast. Desk personnel very helpful and speak English as necessary. Probably of equal importance is the setting -- on a small island in the river shared only with a great park, restaurants (many along the river) and other hotels. Immediately across a small... More

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in the middle of a 2 week vacation. Out of the many hotels I stayed out during this trip my friend and I both agreed that the Hotel Kampa Garden was one of our favourites. We only had a couple days in Prague and this hotel was in the perfect location for... More

I was very pleased with my stay at the Kampa Garden Hotel. First, I have to say that the location could not have been better for us - just a very short walk to the Charles Bridge. We could also walk to the Observatory Tower, the Prague Castle, and various other attractions. The staff was very helpful, the girls were... More

We stayed for three days in Prague and couldn't have chosen a better place to rest. Vert close to all the places you want to visit and even so very quiet and cosy. The people of the hotel are very friendly and helpful. At my next visit to Prague I will book this place again!

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
