Very nice hotel that was in a quiet area, but really close to the King Charles bridge. Lots of restaurants right by the hotel and Starbucks is a 7 min walk. Simple room that was clean and looked out the back of the hotel and onto a beautiful little canal. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Will be back.

I used a well known booking website to book this hotel, it wasn't the cheapest but it was cheap, just under £110 each for 5 nights. Being two women we wanted to stay very close to all the main 'attractions' because we didn't feel comfortable enough to use public transport at night, however the tram system is 2nd to none... More

Very good hotel. Especially good value in winter (I was there at the beginning of February). Excellent location, in a nice neighborhood, quiet but very close to the Charles Bridge. The gave me a double single use without surcharge: a beautiful room on the "Devil's Canal", with many windows. Good breakfast and nice staff. I had a small issue with... More

Stayed at the end of March and enjoyed it. Although its an older building and a looks like it hasn't had a refurb. for a few years it is well looked after and clean, and the staff are friendly. My room was on the top floor and I had a great view over the castle district. Breakfast was very reasonable... More

I ve just come back from a little break in Prague, and I stayed in this hotel. The location is perfect is about 100m from Charles Bridge, in a place called "Kampa", so it's in the heart of Prague. The hotel is not so big but is really clean and the staff is at your disposition every time of the... More

My family had 2 rooms at Kampa Garden 3/26-4/3 (rooms 303 and 308). Both rooms were very large and had plenty of space for 2 people to spread out. One room had a stand up shower and the other a tub with handheld shower. The tub was high so a little difficult to get in and out but, other than... More

I've been to Prague seven times and this was the best place I have stayed. Great location, in heart of everything but still quiet. The accommodations were wonderful as was the staff. Breakfast had everything you could ask for. And best of all, we got an unbelievable price. Highly recommended.

Following a trip to Prague last year, we decided to again book into this hotel as the location is excellent as well as having excellent staff who were so helpful and accommodation through the booking process and during the visit. Thank you Nathalie and Jindra. The breakfast buffet is very nice and more than sufficient to set you up for... More

I stayed here with a group and we had a great couple of nights. The breakfast was absolutely magnificent, the view of the river from the balconies and rooms was beautiful, and the staff were all incredibly welcoming. My one complaint is that the rooms were SO hot - we woke up sweating every morning.

To the Staff of the Kampa Garden. Thank you very much for making our stay so welcoming. We arrived late on Friday night (13th Feb) and straight away the welcome and greeting at reception was brilliant. The Breakfast Buffet is of a very good standard indeed but perhaps could do with a slight change of what's available on different days?... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
