Hotel is in a great location, the room was big enough and clean! There is something to improve like the pillows and mattress, they are not comfortable and it seems like sleeping in a marble piece! Breakfast was good enough even if orange juice was watery. Staff is very friendly, i asked them to print my boarding card and they... More

Excellent hotel but a little bit noisy in the evening and night (I precise : not outside, but in the hotel... Maybe only these days where we lived ??) Very good place toreach old town or Chrale's bridges by foot.

Fairly basic hotel but it you're looking for something reasonably priced in a convenient location then it's a good choice. Our room was on the 3rd floor which was ok for us but the stairs area bit windy and steep so bear that in mind if you have a lot of luggage, there's no porter! The desk staff were polite... More

First of all, this is not a hotel. It's a building filled with disgusting little closets with numbers on them. Upon arrival, you are given a closet and a smile. There's no air conditioning at all, and our closet was facing a busy street with a tram track as well. The closet was filthy, the "bathroom" too. And, as a... More

Hotel has no lift just 3 flights of stairs. If you are on the third floor that's 50 steps to drag your luggage up.clean but much needed to improve it. The toilet is too small and you need to put your feet out of the doorway to be comfortable. The shower basin is too shallow and floods every time despite... More

Don't stay at this hotel, it's terrible! No elevator, only wood round stairs that takes to the rooms. Two of my friends had to go to their room through the balcony! Very small lobby and the staff consisted of only one person! Worst hotel ever... The rooms were so small and breakfast is bad. We placed the towels on the... More

Yes, that's true that the Hotel Colloseum Praha belongs to the cheapest hotels in the city centre of Prague. But the difference of price between the avarage hotels is not to high to appologize the horrible quality of this hotel. This hotel is not able to fulfill any european standard for 3* hotel. The location is not bad - Prague... More

I booked this hotel on a short notice and staff was friendly and helpful. Location was also good, close to city center. They had also luggage room, which helped us when we wanted to have a walks in the center after check out. That was positive side. The room was very dark, oriented into quad. Blankets were dirty and there... More

My room had a very strange smell, the bathroom was dark and seemed to be dirty, the sheets and towels were in bad condition and the breakfast was awful. Additionaly, there was no wifi in the rooms. The only thing positive about this hotel is its location.

Great location in the center, close to river, close to public transport.. but there was old bathroom, no lift in the hotel and very old cicrcle stairs, poor breakfast and small breakfast room. Never again even better price. They want you charge cash eve the mashine for credit cards works. do not belevie them it is out of order.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
