Being in the heart of prague makes your holiday easier. You just go outside and be the part of prague. New town, old town, bridges, metro, nice restaurants and shops are just few metres away. Staff was polite and helpful. Breakfasts were nice. Rooms are clean. A bit small but useful. We felt very lucky for that amazing location. I... More

Stayed here for two nights at the end of January. Great location right on the main square. Our room looked out to the famous clock. Al the main sites are easily accessible from here. Loads of bars/restaurants nearby too. We roughly paid about 83 quid each for two nights so not to bad overall for a weekend. The rooms were... More

Excellent location just next to the Old town square. We paid for a room with the view on the famous clock which was amazing. Room itself was also nice with antique furniture. The negative part is that reception & restaurants and rooms are located in different buildings so you have to walk outside, which is not very comfortable especially for... More

Wow this hotel is directly opposite the old clock in the old town. The location of this hotel is fabulous but YOU CAN NOT DRIVE YOUR CAR UP TO THE HOTEL and THERE IS NO PARKING AT ALL. We didn't have a car but I want to let others know this. When you visit here you understand why. The hotel... More

Arrive by private car set up by hotel is the way to go as bellman will meet you 200m from hotel and take your bags across the square so you don't have to. Room 213 and 201 look out over clock and are a nice size. Well worth the minimal upgrade charge. This I believe is one of the more... More

One can't wish for a better location even if the hotel does have a rather obscure entrance. Our room faced the Astronomical clock and we had a beautiful view over the square. As it was New Year's the square was filled with stalls selling food, drinks and crafts every day. It was wonderful to be woken up by jazz music... More

This hotel is right on the Old Town Square and our room was the best! We were on the 2nd floor and our windows looked right out to the Astronomical clock. The service at the hotel was excellent, cleanliness was apparently of utmost importance to them and everywhere you turned another staff member had a smile and asked if they... More

This property is at a very central location - entrance to the hotel is actually from the Old Town Square which is a hub for many activities. There is no vehicle access to the hotel entrance and you must carry (or drag on cobblestones) your luggage for a couple of hundred metres to the hotel, and then a few steps... More

A superbly located hotel dircetly opposite 'The Clock' (which can be watched from inside the hotel - avoiding the crush outside every hour!). Step out of the hotel straight into Old Town Square with its wide choice of restaurants bars and incredible architecture. Our superior room at the back of the hotel was pleasantly furnished with antique furniture and had... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
