Jan, Jiri, and their wives are fantastic! They sit with you and explain things to see, how to get around, and go out of their way to help you in any way! Will absolutely stay with them next time we go to Prague! Highly recommended! Close to tram stop to get you all around town too.

I stayed at Lida for the third time and it was just as good as previous trips. To start out, this was a last minute trip. Jan and Jiri accommodated my last minute request for a room. We stayed in the attic apartment which can accommodate six people (maybe more?) and I don't think is available through booking.com. As per... More

We had a wonderful 5 day stay in Prague, thanks in large part to Jiri and Jan, the brothers who run Lida. Jiri picked us up at the Prague railway station and gave us a very interesting drive-through tour on the way to Lida. The guesthouse provides you with a transport card for the number of days that you are... More

Stumbled upon this small B&B while looking for an accommodation close to Zluty Lazne and it was a lucky find. This small family run hotel offered us very good accommodation for a very reasonable price. Owners are very nice people always willing to help. We've got a good sleep and a hearty breakfast.

We havé enjoyed staying ta this guest house where Jiri, his brother and his wife sa brother have paid so much attention to us. They are so welcoming and so resourceful! Thanks to them, our stay in Prague and around has been awesome. Their guest house is well located, on the outskirts but very nice and quiet neighborhood. The rooms... More

This was our first visit to Prague, and the city was everything we had heard it was. Beautiful with a really great energy. The buildings have interesting detail and the city just seeps with history. My husband, 15 year old daughter, 3 year old and I stayed at the Lida Guest house in the family suite- which was more than... More

My wife and I spent 3 days and 2 nights at Lida and thought it was the best accommodation of our 3 week trip through Europe. Great location on a quite street. Jiri was fantastic. He took time to explain where to go and what it see. He had metro transportation tickets available for us to buy. My wife is... More

I can't say enough about the great service at Lida. Jan has a wealth of information and is eager to share it with his guests. Jitka and Jan created the best breakfast I have seen at similar establishments. Because we had early flights the day we left, they even made sandwiches and gave us yogurt the night before. Our rooms... More

We were collected from the airport and then Jiri spent 30 minutes explaining transport an Prague's attractions. He supplied concert tickets and bus and metro passes. Good breakfast, clean and comfortable beds. Short walk up slight hill to underground, slightly further and steeper down to buses. Old Town is walkable for the energetic. Note, around 25 steps from street to... More

When visiting Prague, a quiet, homey place to stay is Lida Guest House. It is still close enough to public transportation, an ATM facility and local cafes...especially the one called Sklenik (cash only) The neighborhood is lovely and safe to walk in, even at night. There are stairs to climb, but the host can help with luggage if necessary. The... More
