This hotel was really close to the main train station in Prague, so it was really easy to get to. We just walked 5 mins up the road once we got out and we were there. No need to organise a transfer! It was also relatively close to the town square, about a 15min walk, so the location wasn't bad... More

We checked in and checked out within 30 minutes of entering our hotel room. Upon arrival the desk attendant was extremely kurt. We were told that our room had been "upgraded" , yet from the moment we walked in there was a stench of smoke, and the lobby/hallways were significantly darker than pictured. The first thing we wanted to do... More

Location close to old town, walking distance to attractions. Breakfast was nice , many options. Rooms were ok , bed could be better. Cubicles for wc and shower were separate but overall fine. Really clean. Reception always there and very helpful, arranged airport taxi which was very good.

We just stayed at 987 in Prague and it was a most delightful stay. The staff were so kind, helpful, and went out of their way to show us local attractions, excellent reasonable resturants, tips on shopping, etc. The person who stood out was a the head receptionist Petra, who was amazing with all the helps she gave me and... We travelled to Prague just after Christmas and were reasonably happy with this hotel. One thing which was a little annoying was the fact that it is located about 15 minutes from the centre and that is a long enough walk in January when it's freezing! Also, I didn't like the way the shower and toilet are located in the... More

The Hotel design was great and the position was ideal, in the center of the city. The inside temperature was perfect, although it was snowing all the time. Breakfast was OK, it could have been better.

We stayed here for four nights on a long weekend visit to Prague in April. Location is great. Prague is best seen by walking any anyway .Having been shown to a room which looked directly onto another bedroom window we asked to change and our issue was dealt with quickly and courteously. Our new room was at the front of... More

The hotel outside looks like an old castle (romantic). Inside the rooms are very modernly equiped, designed beatifully with lots of color and nice furniture. We paid less and got a room without view obviously! Just beside the central rail station (we came from Plzen by train and it was convenient!), but quiet and safe area (just beside a 5... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
