We loved our stay. Only 10 mins away from the Christmas market stalls into the old town square. The manager is very welcoming and all the staff are very helpful. We will definitely be back again next November/December, thank you

I cannot complain or say anything bad about the accommodation in Hotel Hastal. The staff is very friendly, professional, ready to help 24/7. You will feel welcomed here! The rooms are cozy and clean, our room had a beatiful view and every morning when we opened the window we heard the bells from Old Town Square which is 400 m... More

I chose the hotel based on the tripadviser's reviews for our short stay in Prague and I was not disappointed. When we walked into the hotel, we were greeted by the hotel owner Patrick and he gave us a brief history of his hotel and showed us the amenities of the hotel. He even took our luggage to our room.... More

Made a quick trip to Prague and Germany to see this year's Christmas Markets....delightful! Hotel Hastal is just charming; the room was good sized, clean, well stocked; the bathroom modern and the breakfast....well you won't leave hungry! Something for many different tastes! Tomas one of the desk attendants was a delight as well; speaks 4-5 languages and his English was... More

Wonderful hotel, couldn't have been better. The staff were very helpful and the manager is personally concerned that your stay is good. Free wine and coffee, free wifi, free safe, free breakfast, free luggage room. Great retro atmosphere. Only a cou[ple of minutes from the Old Town Square, but really quiet at night.

What a brilliant family run hotel in an excellent location. We were welcomed by the smiling owners and made very comfortable in lovely rooms during our 3 night stay to meet up with our travelling Niece. The breakfast was really good - fruit, yoghurt, cereal, bread meats, cheeses and traditional Czech cooked food and plenty of it. We'd definitely return... More

We have just returned from Prauge on a short break with our son and daughter and stayed at this Hotel. On arrival we were greeted by the management which was very nice and a very personal touch. We had requested a double room for us and a twin room for our son and daughter and that is what we got.... More

We had a wonderful time in Prague experiencing the culture, history and nostalgia of this beautiful city. The hotel accommodations at Hotel Hastal were very quaint and cozy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Hotel is centrally located in Old Town and very accessible to restaurants, shopping, tourist attractions, etc. We look forward to going back some day.

Just spent 5days in Prague taking in the winter markets and a birthday and the Hastal was base camp. Always dubious about trying new hotels but when we checked in leaving -5 temperatures outside to be offered hot beverages or a glass of wine by the manager himself, I knew I need not have worried. A super hotel, warm, clean... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
