I stayed in AZ Hostel during New Year's Eve period. The prices for the accomodation were reasonable. The hostel is located in a very good area, close to the Mustek metro station. The room was clean but very simple. Don't expect any luxury;) What I liked most about this place was a very professional and nice personnel. They let us into room... More

This was absolutely perfect for us. We had a double room, which was simple but very clean - that's all we needed. The toilets and bathroom were in adequate numbers and very clean. Showers were clean and with nice hot water. The location of the Hostel is perfect - near enough to walk to quite a few places but also... More

The location is perfect. You can do everything by foot from this location. The facilities are also good, especially the showers. However, there are no breakfast served and I didn't see any lockers to put your stuff in .

Best location for me and my friends...everything is within walikng distance...to the astronomical clock,McDonald's, train stations, Infant Jesus of Prague, H & M, and above all, very affordable.. With the money we saved from the hotel room, we were able to eat well and shop for souvenirs too...

Location is awesome. Right in the middle of everything, a few minutes walk away from everything you could want to visit and right next to a lot of clubs. Like very near. Like so near you can hear the music if the windows are open. Also, the showers don't work very well, with an entire floor sharing 4 showers, when... More

Actually only stayed here as our hotel kicked us out after 11am and our flight wasn't until 10pm - 6 of us as part of a stag doo that needed some sleep!!! Rooms are big, quilts are tiny so take something else. toilets on each floor and showers. Wifi is throughout too! Really easy to check in and out. Location... More

Booked a room for 4, 2 nights in total. The room was huge and very confortable, no bad smells in it, and had wifi. Showers had a lock and a lot of places to hang clothes, something unusual in hostels. Location is perfect, but it is a little hidden and boring, they don't organize anything special. Real negative point is... More

It does what it says on the tin. It is a roof over your head with the basic essentials (beds, showers). Staff are indifferent and their English is broken. However if something goes wrong you can't rely on the staff which is a bit of a hassle. All in all if you are there for a short stay it's okay,... More

If you're looking for a cheap hostel at the perfect location, this is definitely your match. For the other parts, not so much.. We weren't very thrilled with our room, which smelled horrible. Also we've paid for a locker which happened to be a closet which you could break up at the back. The staff was friendly, but if you're... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
