Hotel was clean, breakfast was very good, some of the staff were quite good especially dining room and cleaning staff. Gym was also surprisingly good. Hotel location ok. Our room however resembled a private school dorm. (2 single beds head to head.) View was non existent. Some staff quite argumentative and need a lot of training in the customer service... More

Very large rooms with everything that was needed,ie hairdryer, minibar and tea making facilities. Iron on request. Great breakfast choice and plenty of it. Good location walking to centre, castle and old town. Four poster bed was a nice surprise.

This is a lovely hotel in a quite part of the old town. The room was very spacious and clean with large windows and air conditioning which worked perfectly as it was quite hot when we arrived. There is also a free safe in the room and wifi which seemed to work well everywhere. They have happy hours with different... More

Best breakfast we had in our euro trip (out of 4 hotels). Budget Rooms are huge but modestly styled. Long walk from old town square but good connectivity by trams and metro. Staff is pleasant and helpful. All in all a good hotel and recommended to travellers to the magicial city of prague.

The location of the hotel was nice and it was a great deal. Our room was decent and very clean and we were very comfortable. The problem was with booking a tour through the hotel. They use a company called BEST tours (read my review), and they are a terrible company. There was a problem with our tour and the... More

We stayed at this property for 3 nights in a triple room and it was fabulous. The room was large with 3 twin beds, very clean and in a quite area for being close to all the sites. The staff at the hotel was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast room served a nice variety and had a great coffee... More

Interior was beautiful and staff at reception and bar were friendly and helpful. I found the room to be spacious and comfortable, suiting our needs perfectly for a 4-night stay. However, noise seems to echo around the place. We were able to clearly hear other's conversations, and people in rooms next to us banged on our walls for talking (and... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
