I stayed in a private room for 3 nights and it was without doubt the best hostel I have been to. On arrival the staff are very welcoming and eager to help with everything and anything. They couldn't be more helpful and enthusiastic. The room itself is amazing, very clean and spacious, bed I comfy and big. The bathroom is... More

Couldn't recommend more highly. Lovely clean and spacious rooms, social kitchen area to meet other travellers, and a great location. Very friendly staff who gave great advice on where to go for food and night life, and to whom I am especially grateful - after leaving in a rush early in the morning I left my car keys on the... Beautiful place, which feels more like a boutique hotel rather than a hostel. Our private room was lovely and clean, with a big comfortable bed and a chic new décor. There are two buildings, the reception was in the one across the street and our building was very quiet with a nice feel of privacy and no noise at night,... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights in one room with a bunkbed that shared a bathroom with another room. The rooms are kind of an apartment style with a shared kitchen and bathroom. Pros: -The breakfast provided is AMAZING. Great way to start the day before exploring Prague. -The rooms are clean and neat/modern looking -Fairly good location... More

Incredibly friendly staff, delicious breakfast, wonderful dorms and common space. Only complaint is that the shower design doesn't include a door, and therefore water was all over the floor in the bathroom. Other than that, my stay was great!

My 4 friends and I stayed in the 5-bed dorm at Miss Sophie's and LOVED it! After a fiasco with our former accommodations, the staff at Miss Sophie's was incredibly helpful and allowed us to book a room that same day. We were pleasantly surprised with our dorm - large bedroom with hardwood floors and comfortable beds, a modern bathroom,... More

Came across this magnificent facility while scouting for budget accomodation in Prague, which stood out by superbly high evaluations (8,5 out of 10 scored) and low priced lodging in dormitory (7 euros). Location 2 metro stations away (near I.P. Pavlova) from the main railway hub or 15 minutes semi brisk paced walk with relatively easy bearings for selfnavigation. Units are... More

I visited Prague last week and stayed in the main building. As far as hostels go, this is the nicest I've ever stayed in. It was very clean and modern. The room we stayed in was apartment style. Behind the main door, there were two bedrooms and four bathrooms. The bathrooms were big and the bedrooms were spacious. In addition,... More

Lovely hostel, most importantly clean and very safe. The proximity to I.P. Palova station was definitely a plus. The service staff are very sweet, kind and helpful; the bar below is lovely as a common area!

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
