Came across this magnificent facility while scouting for budget accomodation in Prague, which stood out by superbly high evaluations (8,5 out of 10 scored) and low priced lodging in dormitory (7 euros). Location 2 metro stations away (near I.P. Pavlova) from the main railway hub or 15 minutes semi brisk paced walk with relatively easy bearings for selfnavigation. Units are... More

I visited Prague last week and stayed in the main building. As far as hostels go, this is the nicest I've ever stayed in. It was very clean and modern. The room we stayed in was apartment style. Behind the main door, there were two bedrooms and four bathrooms. The bathrooms were big and the bedrooms were spacious. In addition,... More

Lovely hostel, most importantly clean and very safe. The proximity to I.P. Palova station was definitely a plus. The service staff are very sweet, kind and helpful; the bar below is lovely as a common area!

This was the nicest hostile I have ever stayed in! The staff was extremely friendly and the rooms were very modern and clean. There were two showers for our room of 8 people and there were even heated towel racks. The wi-fi works very well but the best part of all is their breakfast. Every morning they put out the... More

Stayed here over Halloween weekend, and is by far the best hostel we have been in. Rooms spacious, beds were comfy, everything was clean and breakfast was delicious. It is a bit of a walk to get to some attractions but totally worth it for the amazing accommodation. Would highly recommend!

I stayed at this hostel for 3 nights in October 2014 (traveling solo for the first time). I stayed in a dorm of 5. I do not have a bad word to say about this hostel! It exceeded my expectations, the fact that I am writing this review long after I've have stayed there should really speak for itself. It... More

I stayed at Miss Sophie's with 8 of my friends for my birthday last week and we all shared a 10 bed dorm. We were all so impressed with how clean and tidy it was and how friendly the staff were. Their additional breakfast was AMAZING and you could literally eat as much as you like for about £3! (I... More

Stayed in a standard double in the second building. Pros: - The room and private bathroom were modern, bright, clean and comfortable - much more like a hotel than hostel. - Nice view out the window. - Lift accessible. - The winter rates were good. - The staff are really friendly and helpful with tips, maps and public transport tickets.... I had a lovely stay at Miss Sophie's over New Year's 2014/2015. I stayed in the five-person dorm. They were really lovely dorms complete with separate kitchen and bathroom. I had some friends stay in the double apartment - this was really lovely also, More like a boutique hotel than a hostel. The breakfasts were really lovely - nice to... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
