I stayed 3 nights in an apartment with 4 beds. Really beautiful room, clean kitchen and bathroom. The location is excellent. It's calm. The breakfast buffet is delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can leave there your luggage after check out. I would definitely recommend it!

Everything you would want in a hostel and more! Excellent location, beautiful rooms, fantastic friendly staff who could give advice on absolutely everything. Very safe luggage storage both in rooms and for if you need to leave your luggage after check out as well. The dorms also were en-suite with kitchens as well per floor. We went on the organised... I stayed here for about a week in the fall. It was a great hostel - reasonably priced, friendly staff, and, best of all, largely empty! I don't know if it was downtime for tourists, but for several nights there were only a cpl of others in a large room with 12 beds. The decor, furniture, and appliances are very... More

Good times were had here! It was nice and friendly. Staff were very helpful and if you do not get breakfast here you are missing out! Not to mention the massive room we got, for a hostel it had a hotel feel in the bedroom and a great atmosphere in the bar.

Miss Sophie's was probably one of the nicest hostels I've ever had the pleasure of staying in; from the moment I checked in at reception, I felt welcome, especially since the fellow checking me in provided me with a map and lots of directions and advice! I stayed in a 5-bed dorm and it was spacious and clean, with a... More

As a hostel, it's everything you want. It's in a location that's not too far from the top attractions, it provides an awesome free city tour and has the perfect atmosphere on an evening to meet new people. And the breakfast they do.. Couldn't ask for much more, absolutely spot on.

I've stayed in many hostels, this one is by far one of the best in terms of condition, price, and hostel staff. The location is good enough because the city is small. The crowd is a bit younger on average, but I think that's typical for all of Prague. I'd recommend this hostel to anyone!

Everything from the customer service to the quality of the facilities went above and beyond! We could not have been happier with our visit to Prague. It is an easy 10-15 minute walk to the main center of town. I recommend the breakfast buffet over the full brunch - the food is just as good but considerably cheaper.

I stayed at Miss Sophie's with my mother and sister who were both very skeptical when I told them it was a hostel. We all loved this place, and were so grateful to the staff for their help as we learned how best to navigate the city. It's clean, modern, and was overall one of my favorite hostel experiences of... WOW! I loved Miss Sophie. Great price, great value, great room and great service. This is what happens when hostels decide to go further and offer great quality for its guests. Who said hostels had to be shady and uncomfortable places to stay? Miss Sophie feels more like a boutique hotel than a hostel. It is a little bit far... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
