Great location, very central and great price. Beds extremely comfy and shower was fantastic. Decor definitely needs refreshing, carpets were stained and there were some stains and paint peeling off the walls in our room. Be warned if you are visiting during the summer, the rooms get very warm at night and there is no air con. We couldn't have... More

The hotel could hardly be more central. Very easy to walk anywhere. I walked from the train station to the hotel and once I had left my luggage I continued on foot to the castle. Rooms are nice, clean and quite spacious. It is in a charming old building, but this has the downside of steep stairs and no air-conditioning.... More

The overall appearance of the hotel is a bit scruffy. Moreover, rooms differ hugely. Some doubles are very small (at most 1 yd of room next to the bed). We had a deluxe (no other was available) which was very spacious. Breakfast is not too special but way above par from the usual "breakfast included" places. By far the most... More

Arrived at this hotel in 2012 with family, did not expect to arrive to a room which hadn't even been made, had sheets all over the place and a call girl card on the bedside table. The room was terrible, the price was too hefty for such a dingy hotel and the staff were the rudest hotel staff that I... More

I stayed here for four nights. I'll definately recommed this hotel to all my friend. The receptionist is so willing to help. They even let us put one of our luggage there for three nights while we're away from Prague. The breakfast is also good. Especially, they provide fresh fruit everyday. It's so good to have fruit to eat when... More

The room we stayed in we could not put two suit cases in.When we complained he said we could get another room for 120 euros. We had no choice but to pay the money. We had a very nice room.We had to stay in original room for 3 nights and paid extra for 5 more nights. It seemed like we were set up.The... We spent 4 nights here in June and we enjoyed it. The standard might not be the best but the location is excellent. We didn't spend that much time at the hotel except for sleeping and resting between all the walking we did to look at prague's all treasures. We had to leave early the day we checked out and... Excellent Location in the old city on the main street, clean, basic good breakfast, very good hotel according to the price and quality, try it! There is no lift but for us it was not a problem. The city is amazing and the hotel is a very good choice for small budget and/or clever people!

Location of the hotel is perfect, you can reach any place in 2-5 minutes. But we found out that it is not the advantage as we didn't sleep all night long because of night life. Room was good size with old style furniture but hard matrass and weird pillows. Breakfast is not heavy but OK for a first bite in... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
