I was traveling alone so I got a single room, which was very cosy but the bed was twin size and small when you are used to having a double, but other than that, the room was clean, had a wonderful shower and towel heater in the bathroom, a flat screen tv (only news channels in English) and nice carpeting.... Really lovely staff, the hotel was clean and quiet, beautiful with a great atmosphere. We had no problems whatsoever. Location was okay, the receptionist recommended a little restaurant just next to the hotel that does home made beer, we were told it was a bit pricey but worth it, and it was brilliant (recommend the banana flavoured beer). Overall, great experience,... More

The staff at the hotel was very nice. The food at breakfast was amazing. The Hotel is beautiful and every detail is sweet. You need to be really demanding to find a problem. Everybody was so polite and nice that I just enjoyed myself as much as possible. I think that the fact that people dont speak english works to... More

Booked onine for the long May weekend. On the arrival we have been told that our booking has been cancelled and they have no more rooms available. Why the booking has been cancelled? I will never find out. When asked the man at the reception (who claimed to be the owner) what he is going to do about it and... More

Basic accommodation, rooms are small but plenty of room didn't need much more, t.v, good wifi, very helpful and polite staff, and 24 hour reception which gives you a safer vibe also lots of security to enter building. Only downside walls are quite thin, so if people are hanging around corridors after dark you can hear it. Apart from this... More

If I have a criticism, then the rooms are a little on the small side, but that apart an excellent (and modestly priced place to stay, handy for public transport and not far from the city centre. Family run, and an excellent (continental) breakfast included in the price.

I suppose you get what you pay for...The staff was nice enough and the location was good....but tile floors, no sound insulation, and a college dorm type atmosphere...only had one restful night of sleep during a four night stay.....otherwise people in and out until 5 AM...and this was not one group of boisterous partyers but three different separate groups of... Good location and a good price. Accommodation was fresh and safe. Staff provided a good service, but English was not widely spoken. Facilities were clean and cleaned regularly to ensure everyone experienced the same. I would recommend a stay here.

We were very lucky to stay in this hotel, as literally nothing else was free as the Pope was on the visit to the Prague ;-). There was one very nice man at the reception, who was willing to accomodate us at 5.00AM, in the last room for four, even when there were just two of us, for price of... More

I have been traveling a lot and this is one of the worst places I have stayed so far. Maybe we was unlucky with the room, but I have to say it was terrible. The location was good though with just a short walk from the old town. We came there by car and have to pay almost the same... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
