Quite small rooms and very small hotel with a cafe on the first floor. Not sure if this is a 5* by international standard but location is fabulous! Just a few steps from the Old Town Square, really very good.

The location is excellent, just steps from Old Town Square. All staff are friendly and the hotel is spotlessly clean with a good choice of rooms. It's a small hotel and as such is good for a relaxing break. Good breakfast with a lot of choice, served by friendly staff. I would stay again.

The room was spacious, with huge ceilings. Our room was on a corner with windows on two sides. One side overlooked Our Lady of Tyn church and the other out onto the Old Town Square. The only street was on one side and it stopped at the hotel, so it was a very quiet place to stay. The bathroom was... More

Nice, affordable place to say. Nice not to stay in a chain hotel once in awhile. The hotel arrange driver from airport, gave us fresh cookies at turn down and helped plan our day. Nice location in the center of town.

The best thing going for Hotel Ventana is it's location - just yards from the Old Town Square. As a guest the first thing that hits you about this hotel is the sound - it's silent! We felt like we were the only guests! The staff are lovely and extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much bother. At breakfast... More

We have stayed at a number of good hotels in Prague and I would say that this is certainly one of the best. Smallish, but with the very personal attention that one might expect. A lovely quiet room, an excellent bed and a lovely breakfast...what else can one hope for...and free wifi of course.

A friend and I went to Prague for Christmas to leave the warm weather of the UAE. It was fantastic. The hotel was clean and cozy with very accommodating staff. It was steps away from Old Town and the Christmas Markets which made it a wonderful location. Highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed at the Ventana hotel for 6 nights in early Oct 2014. This small boutique hotel was a big contributing factor in our wonderful Prague experience. The room was beautifully but simply appointed, and the bed was so comfortable! The views from our corner room were incredible (the main square with all it's activities and the... More

Choose this hotel for its location and recommendations. It is extremely well situated, a short walk to The Clock Tower, but very quiet. Extremely friendly and hospitable staff, who also collected and returned us to the Airport. I had a large spacious room on 3rd floor with a sofa and large bathroom. The other room was slightly smaller. Breakfasts are... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
