Fabulous hotel. Great location near the Main square - awesome food - helpful staff - terrific historic building - huge high ceilings - deep bath tubs - Superior Room was just what I had hoped. Would return.

We stayed at the Ventana for eight nights. Our room was huge compared to other hotel rooms we have had while traveling in Europe. We had a king-sized bed, a sofa, and a very large modern bathroom with a soaking tub and shower. The breakfast each day offered a variety food: eggs, sausages, meats, cheese, yogurt, fruit, juices, pastries and... More

What a wonderf hotel. It is within walking distance of all the main attractions. Less than a minute from the main square and the clock. It is also very close to the main streets and restaurents plus the bridge and castle. The hotel staff are so helpful and friendly.

With a great location just off the Old Town Square and near to the main shopping areas this hotel is the prefect base for a visit to Prague. My upgraded room was huge and faced towards the square but did not suffer from excess noise. The room was clean and had a beautiful light feel to it with a nice... More

Walking distance to the bridge, to the castle on the hill, to the clock, to the resturants and theaters. The breakfast can't be better, eggs different stykl, salmon, the best bread & cheese, all different kinds of cut meat, yogourts etc.. can't ask for better. The room I was in was the largest in the hotel with a balcony. very... More

My wife and I recently stayed in the Ventana Hotel for our trip to Prague. I will say right away that it was one of the highlights of our trip. I am a very picky person when it comes to hotel, so I do not write this review lightly. In fact, I rarely write reviews, but I felt the need... More

First visit in Prague. They arranged for a pick up at the airport straight to the hotel for $39 for the two of us. Very convenient. Hotel is excellent staff attentive knowledgeable and very willing to help with getting oriented and finding what you need in town. The room was a loft style room with the bedroom upstairs in the... Quite small rooms and very small hotel with a cafe on the first floor. Not sure if this is a 5* by international standard but location is fabulous! Just a few steps from the Old Town Square, really very good.

The room was spacious, with huge ceilings. Our room was on a corner with windows on two sides. One side overlooked Our Lady of Tyn church and the other out onto the Old Town Square. The only street was on one side and it stopped at the hotel, so it was a very quiet place to stay. The bathroom was... More

Nice, affordable place to say. Nice not to stay in a chain hotel once in awhile. The hotel arrange driver from airport, gave us fresh cookies at turn down and helped plan our day. Nice location in the center of town.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
