Visited Prague for a long weekend an we stayed at the Ventana hotel. The experience was excellent, with a nice and clean rooms, comfortable beds and a decent breakfast. Staff are attentive, helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is hard to beat, with the old town square around the corner.

We would thoroughly recommend this centrally located hotel in Old Prague and many thanks to the excellent and very helpful reception staff including Patrik and Vera and others who made our 4 day stay so special. We stayed in a loft suite on the fourth floor which was very comfortable and with the double glazing and air conditioning we could... More

Excellent hotel, attentive staff, efficient and dedicated. Very good location - at the center of Old Prague, yet very quiet and accessible to all. Tasty and rich breakfast. Many thanks to Patrik and all his affiliates.

We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay on our first visit to Prague, staying at the Ventana Hotel. Our high ceilinged room, on the second floor, was number 23. It was very spacious with a large bathroom, including bath, and the bedroom looked over the Church of Our Lady before Týn. The breakfast was one of the best we... More

The Ventana Hotel was situated in such a perfect location, within eye sight of the Old Town Square, and a short walk to all the areas attractions & restaurants, including those on the "other side" of the river in Lesser Town. The rooms, with their 12 foot ceilings, tall windows, stocked mini bar (with cheap prices), comfortable bed and spacious... More

We stayed at the Ventana for 4 nights this April for my birthday and from start to end it was perfect. The hotel is really well appointed and as a small hotel it was just a great place to stay. The room was very clean and extremely well furnished as was the bathroom and shower. The location of the hotel... More

What a lovely hotel, clean, comfortable, spacious rooms, bathrobes, slippers, just great. Staff friendly, Patrik in particular was lovely, nothing was too much trouble for him, and he even made sure we had a bottle of champagne in our room to celebrate a Birthday! Breakfasts were really nice, and there was sparkling wine to wash it down, and the food... More

This hotel is tucked away from the Old Town Square but very convenient. It was quiet & clean. The breakfast buffet offered many choices. The staff was very helpful with directions on where to meet all our tours.

We stay at The Ventana for only one night in our trip to Prague. Location is perfect for us since it's only five minutes walking to Astronomical clock and the Old Town plaza. There are many restaurants, cafe"s, souvenir shops, and transportation. Katherina hotel concierge and host give us excellent recommendations of places and restaurants, ( Italian restaurant Pasta Fresca... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
