Myself and my partner have just returned from a long weekend. We couldn't fault the hotel in general. Staff friendly and helpful. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent WiFi. Located approximately 15 min walk from centre but lots of places to eat and drink within 5 mins walk. KFC, McDonald's, Starbucks and Costa just seconds away.

Just returned from Hotel Tyl, and our opinion is that it was excellent for us. We stayed in room 202 (wifi excellent!) at the front of the hotel with trams running outside. That could be an issue for those bothered by a little tram noise, but it wasn't enough to bother us at all. Room was largeish with an excellent... More

We visited Prague in the middle of November and stayed here. I've read some reports on here so I'd like to maybe put my view across as I didn't experience the issues that have been raised. The room was large, comfortable and generally quiet. We had a front facing room on the second floor and had no problems with the... More

Have just returned from a lovely visit to Prague, The hotel was spotlessly clean, with nice rooms and a good choice at breakfast, However towels were very thin and small, only a bottle of hand soap in the bathroom. Mini bars were empty and no where to even buy a drink or get a cup of coffee in the evening... More

This was by far the most convenient location to stay at in Prague. Situated at a walking distance from the underground, trams as well as bus stops. It is in a bustling area with quite a few restaurants to venture out to. The hotel itself is a cozy one. The rooms are decently sized with ample space in the bathrooms.... More

We stayed at Hotel Tyl for 3 nights and had a pleasant stay. Our room was clean, tidy and the staff was helpful and friendly. I wouldn't think this is a 4 Star hotel though. The breakfast was alright with a lot of options (cereal, pastries, eggs, sausages, vegetables...). The hotel is only about 10-15 min walk from the City... More

definitely this is not a 4 star hotel! I've attached pictures of our room : mold in the walls, stains on the carpet and in the duvet, hair in the matress , dead bugs for a long time, hair dryer with adhesive and horrible mattress! we had back pain and stiff neck throughout for all our stay. in the evening... On the positive side, the hotel is in a good location and really not that far from the town centre, there are also plenty of good restaurants about a five minute walk from the hotel. The staff in reception were very friendly and accommodating. Our main issue with the hotel, having stayed in three other four star hotels in the... More

Stayed for 1 night on a Thursday in June of 2013 (not 2014). Price prior to arrival matched the price at checkout - no hidden fees. The hotel looked as was pictured on various websites. Pro: - Clean and well taken care of. - Courteous staff who spoke English well. - Included continental breakfast was very good with fresh food... More

We were given the suite on the top floor. Was clean and adequate with a lovely views over the rooftops. But wouldn't stay there again as is more in the financial district and not the old town. The other side of the river near the castle looked much more attractive.
