This boutique hotel located on the Old Town Square is fantastic. We had the chance to stay in one of the room with view on the square and the astronomical clock. The staff was really arranging and the room are just perfect - clean, really spacious and with a nice modern decoration.

Entertaining family is very easy here at the old town square, we watched the astronomical clock strike the hour then sat in the square with a picnic watching the amazing street entertainers till dusk , quite a lot of the shop's however near the square have lost their charm and sell mass produced trinkets, I prefer to visit at Christmas... Old town square has to be the most famous of Prague's attractions. It is a hustle and bustle type of place but if you're patient you can get some amazing photos. The clock tower has to be the most memorable landmark but I'm not sure if the hourly display of the figures on the clock really warrants the hype! It... More

We stayed in room 12 for 2 nights. It was the only room with a balcony. When we entered the room i was struck by the size of the room and the lovely french doors which led to the balcony. Perfect views of the old town square. Its a fab location to look around central prague, never to far to... More

Large rooms with great location right on Old Town Square. Great guest staff and very helpful. Only problem was lack of air conditioning in the room. We're there during very hot summer and the small portable unit did not cool room. Breakfast served directly to you in your room since no restaurant or bar on property. Very friendly staff.

We couldn't believe how fun this square was in Old Town Prague. It's orderly and clean as well. Restaurants all over. Clock tower. Shops. Outdoor performers and musicians. Just good fun plus no fee. You can spend ten minutes or hours here. Kids and adults of all ages were here

We stayed in Room 21 - a perfect room for families. It has two spacious, modern rooms that overlook the Old Town Square. Even our Czech friends were impressed by the size and elegance of the room. The staff was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the booking process and our stay. Staying in the middle of Old Town Square is... More

Fantastic location in Prague. Nice and big rooms. Employees were very attent to provide any type of help, but, ... The expectations created by the information and photos you can gathered on the OTSH web page and in the booking web pages were not met. The hotel should not be rated five stars. It has nothing to do with any... More

Dear Madam Thank you very much for your review, which made me a bit sad as I did not wish you to feel deceived as you say in your review. I also must say that on the contrary I have described the hotel the way it is on both the web pages of the hotel, on the web pages of... More

Our stay @ OTSH was fantastic. The Hotel is conveniently located. Our executive Suite room with balcony overlooking the square was large, airy (at least '15 ceilings w/ chandeliers),clean and modern. The breakfasts served in our room on our balcony each morning were also outstanding. Also, a big thank you to Tomas and Michael for all of your local knowledge... More

When I arrived and opened the window I couldn't believe that I was in front of the Astronomical Clock, and in the old town hall ( in the main square of the city). We we were in the place were everything happens! We had an enormous room, with a great shower! The windows are great and the sound of the... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
