This does Not deserve the "5 star hotel" rating. I have stayed in enough 5 star hotels around the world to know that this was simply NOT up to standard! We stayed 2 nights and on the second morning they forgot to give us the breakfast form to fill out (which was given for the first morning) for our in-room... More

Dear ElliJohns I want to first and foremost apologize that we have not met your and your friends’ expectations during your visit of Prague and of our hotel in October of last year. I am not sure if it was just the breakfast or anything else as well, but you are completely right that it should not have been cold.... More

We stayed in a junior suite. The room was huge with a very comfortable king size bed and overlooked the square. We would highly recommend. Buskers were playing outside in the square each evening though this didn't bother us as we went out every evening

This square and the clock and the food and all the entertainment is just awesome. Everyone is so friendly. U have lots of shops and food stands that will definitely meet your expectations. Be sure to take pics of the clock and definitely look for the GOLD AND SILVER MEN. Really cool

Bang on old town square in the centre of it all this hotel's best feature is possibly its location. Its a busy area with loads of restaurants and key sights in walking distance which means you start off your holiday ticking off the top few sights in prague immediately... Shopping streets all around including some luxury stores extremely close to... More

Splurge on a room with a view of Old Town Square, and you'll be enjoying the toll of the famous Astronomical Clock right outside of your window. Modern, spotless rooms and the suite we stayed in had heated floors and was HUGE. So luxurious. There are obviously some issues with noise because you are in the absolute tourist center, but... Great hotel, with amazing service. All the staff was incredibly nice and helpful no matter what we were inquiring about. The hotel was clean and decor had a nice mixture between the classic feel and modernized furniture. The rooms were beautiful and the our bathroom was very spacious. The breakfast food is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - the only thing is sometimes... More

This hotel was excellent in every respect. They arranged an airport transfer for us which arrived bang on time, a member of staff walked across the square to meet us (cars not allowed onto square) and check in was very speedy and professional. Room was huge and well appointed and had an excellent view directly onto the Old Town square.... More

This boutique hotel is really located in the old town, close to everything. It is nicely decorated and rooms are spacy and have everything you need. I especially liked the breakfast in the privacy of your room. You order everything you want and the staff brings it to your room at the time requested. I see a lot about criticism... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
