Can't argue with the value of this hotel based on its proximity to the central tourist areas; it's only about a 10 minute walk from the central train station (Narodni hln), and about 5 minutes to Wenceslas Square. Metro and tram stops are close by as well. Prague is a good walking city, so it is easy to start at... More

Enjoyed our stay great for those on a budget that want clean no frills accommodation in the heart of everything. However no matter what floor you stay on it will involve stairs. There are stairs to the lift on the first floor and whichever floor you go to you need to walk up or down to your corridor/room.If you arrive between 8pm... Hotel is near to wenceslas and old town square about 15 minutes from hotel by foot. The hotel is on five floors and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, so there is no problem if you come with friends or family, there is enough space. Food is great , there is a lot of sorts of fruits and vegetables, same... More

Really nice place close to the center. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I also liked the service a lot. Everyone was really nice and friendly in the hotel. If I go back to prague I would definitely decide to go back in this hotel.

I have stayed in the residence during my holiday in Prague and I loved it! It is very close to the center and the rooms are really nice - with their own kitchen! The whole staff is really friendly, competent and multilingual! I liked the atmosphere there a lot, had a great stay and would suggest the residence to anyone... More

We stayed there for 4 nights. It was a very pleasant stay. Room was big, clean and spacious. The location was very central to all major sights and attractions in Prague and room itself wasn't too expensive. Only issue is reception is closed after 8 pm. So if you are planning to check in after 8 pm , make sure... More

First of all, it was my fault that I didn't learn this place. I selected the hotel through the map in that case. ROOM. Dark - dirty windows and too fresh - one of windows can't be fully closed. The cold stone floor. There is no noise proof, you have to listen to your neighbors during every activity of them... More

We were happy with our stay as the hotel was well located and very reasonably priced but on the morning of our check out a wallet, passport and phone were stolen from the room and the reception did not seem to want to help us or seemed surprised. So be wary.

The location is great!! A short walk to the main street, and a few more minutes to the main square of the old town. There is a metro station around the corner, and a tram stop a few streets away, so you are very well connected here. It is a little bit noisy, particularly on weekend nights, because there are... The location of this hotel is SUPERB! And the prices are very reasonable. However, we had some problems with water drainage in the sink, and the room was a bit dim. All in all, if you're in Prague to enjoy the city and not the hotel room, this hotel is a very good choice. :)

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
