Yes! Our "Berlin" apartment was clean, spacious, comfortable, priced reasonably and a short walk from Charles Bridge and the Old Town center. We loved our home away from home. Besides a large bedroom and private bath, we had a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a patio. The bath was small but modern, clean and the shower had great... More

I chose Residence Retezova for our family trip to Prague as I thought it would be more pleasant and convenient to stay in one apartment rather than in 2 separate rooms. The largest apartment (Roma) was already booked but the hotel agreed to let the 6 of us stay in the Jerusalem apt and had rollaways beds placed into the... More

Where to stay in Prague? Simple answer: Residence Retezova The location in "Old Town" and the entire staff were incredible. We had 5 adults in the roomy Roma suite and were very comfortable. Zuzana and Veronika were experts in recommending places to eat and arranging transportation. The ample breakfast each morning was a perfect start each of our 5 days.... More

My wife and I had a enjoyable trip to Prague thanks to the very helpful Manager of the Residence Retezova. We took a train from Budapest and thanks to the "ultra" tourist-friendly way the railways are run in Central Europe, we had lost all of our luggage, including my laptop that I was going to use for a business presentation... We stayed in the "Singapore", a clean, comfortable, but very tiny room. The bottom floor included a sitting area with kitchenette and a nice bathroom. The sleeping area was a loft reached by a very steep ladder. This clearly wouldn't be a room for a family with small children, older folks not amenable to ladder climbing, or someone who needs... My dad and I spent 5 nights at this lovely charming hotel. It's well located, just 3 mins from the Charles Bridge and the Old Town Square. The room was large and comfy with all the amenities (tv, dvd player, fridge) and had a lovely private courtyard as well. The staff were lovely and took care of our every need.... More

We stayed four nights. The apartment was big with a large bathroom. The location was great. Just close enough to go into the old city but tucked away so it was quiet. The people were friendly and the apartment was very clean. We would recommend this to everyone.

I knew, after reading all of the reviews that our stay here would be fantastic. We did not, however, expect just how wonderful it was! The service at the hotel and the people that work here are so wonderful! We were in walking distance to EVERYTHING we wanted to see. We fell in love with this place and cannot wait... More

We stayed in a studio flat at Residence Retezova. The bathroom and living-room downstairs were very clean, nice decoration, nice couch. There was a small kitchenette with an oven, but no table, which was okay for breakfasts but wouldn't have been very convenient for bigger meals. The stairs leading up to the bedroom were extremely steep, more like a ladder.... More

Five Norwegians on a classic girls trip to Prague had the greatest experience with Residence Retezova. We highly recommend it to everyone - and we really look forward to going back to this hotel - either on a family trip with kids, with husbands - or on a new girls spree! The apartment was big enough for all of us,... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
