Our hostel has rooms and it looks more like a flat than hotel, it has only 6 rooms - 3 double rooms (Vermillion, Yellow and budget White) and 3 dormitories (Green, Blue and Red - for girls only). We've designed all rooms as we would like to find it on our travels. It's been designed in retro style of 50th and 60th. There are some unique and originally pieces of furniture. All rooms share common kitchen, bathroom, showers and 2 toilets. Wifi is available in all rooms. Hostel Lipa is located in Zizkov quarter where you can find many bars and pubs. Zizkov is cheaper than centre and is very popular between Prague citizens. We have very good connections to all parts of Prague: 8 minutes bus ride to historical downtown, 5 minutes to main bus terminal and 10 minutes to railway station.

We are a couple and we are traveling around Europe for 3 weeks! Prague was our second stop. We booked at hostel Lipa a private room with shared bathroom. The room was excellent, absolutely clean, big and bright! The bed was very comfortable! The showers and toilets were clean also not all day long because the people wasn't respect to keep clean the shared places of the hostel. The kitchen was fully equipped. I loved the living room!!! The location is very close to the bus station Florenc but not in the city center! Fact that we liked because it was quite and not crowded And also the communication with the reception was very good! We highly recommend this place for a sort or long stay in Prague!

As it was my first ever stay in a hostel, I was a little hesitant at first but thanks to the good location, clean rooms and very welcoming staff (girl, keep it up!) I was able to fully and safely enjoy my little vacation in Prague. What surprised me the most is how much this place resembled a home - a vibe you definitely won't get at hotels. The only con I could think of regarding this place is that it may get a little noisy at night but there is nothing a pair of earplugs cannot fix. Give it a try, especially since it's really budget friendly ;)

Unfortunately had to deal with very terrible customer service. Due to falling I'll, I missed my initial flight and gave days notice to cancel my reservation. They insisted on charging me the full rate, despite my having explained to them the circumstances, and accused me of not planning ahead. I would understand if I was a no-show inconveniencing the hostel, but it is a hostel for backpackers who budget, and I gave multiple days notice. If you're a backpacker I highly encourage you take your meager funds elsewhere.

The staff was great and they were very eager to help me when I had some roommate troubles. The room was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well-equipped. I was there in off-season so there weren't a lot of guests, it was all very quiet. I think Zizkov is quite lovely. This location was perfect for me because it is quite close to the Main Railway Station, the bus station and tram station. Prague has an overall good public transport system and the city center was easily accesible. My only complaint would be that the room's door could be a little sturdier and more soundproof, but it wasn't something terribly annoying.

We stayed in the double room. Ample space, very clean and the host was knowledgeable, could help us with everything. Bus stop right in front of the hostel and tram five minutes walk. Shared kitchen is well stocked. Free coffee, tea and cereal. Bathrooms, toilets were always c!ean. Never noisy. Will stay there again.

The hostel is not your typical hostel - there is no "army boot camp" feel to it. Instead, the place is like a modern city centre apartment, and there is plenty of space with a decent kitchen and common room, as well as ample bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities. The staff were pleasant but not overly welcoming, but we have been travelling for weeks now so we did not need to much explanation from the employees. Pros- clean, comfortable, spacious place Cons - quiet, not a good place for meeting new people, staff not too accommodating.

I like that green room i stayed in. I chosed single bed. Room, bathroom and toilet was clean. Stuff was veeery friendly :) i would appreciate some fan for that night, because room was situated into street so i shut the windows closed. Ps plus for that location. Close to bus station florenc and bus stop was right across the street! Ps2 it was really quiet there eventhough i stayed during the weekend!

It was the first time I visited Prague. Me and my two friends were trying to find something that is not too expensive and also not too far from city center. At hostel Lipa we found triple room for just 495 CZK (about 19 EUROs). Receptionist was really kind and she showed us on the map how to get to the center. Hostel didn't have breakfast, but as we were there just for one night, it wasn't important for us. Room and bathroom were clean. We were very satisfied with service in this hostel and if we come back to Prague, we will definitely go there again!

The place is in 15min walking distance from the main bus station. It's renovated and clean, quiet and friendly and there are two nice pubs right below the hostel where you can have a nice dinner of typical Czech dishes. I definitely recommend it!
