We stopped at this cafe for a chilled glass of wine for each as we had walked a fair distance that sunny afternoon. Looked in the menu but didnt find any drinks, so decided prices shouldnt hurt. Well, it hurt, big time!!! just 2 classes of wine! when we challenged the waiter, he readily brought the menu (not the one... More

We stayed in this hotel some years back, for mostly sentimental reasons, since I grew up in this area-very near by. We had a suite on the highest floor then, lots of steps but a nice view. We enjoyed our stay. But this review is about our lunch on our last visit. We were not guests at the hotel this... More

Fabulous location within walking distance of everything in Prague. Very clean and large room we had our own sitting room. Delicious breakfast though it wasn't large. We loved this hotel and will definitely be back. Thanks

Did not stay at hotel, but had a few drinks and sandwiches at their terrace. Over priced tourist trap. Please check and confirm prices carefully with the waiter before ordering anything. We were charged 1100 Ckr for two small baguettes and a few soft drinks.

We found hotel cafe Dvorak on the internet. It looked like the kind of place we like and we certainly were not disappointed. We loved this hotel in a quiet location but only two minutes walking distance to the atmospheric Charles Bridge from where you can access both sides of Prague. Our accommodation consisted of a small sitting room, bedroom... More

Service and staff is friendly, food below average. ( we ordred 5 different portions) They do charge a lot of extra on bread and spices, even more that your hole portion, if you eat alone. Place is nice

My wife and I booked 6 nights at hotel Dvorak in July 2012. It is a small hotel with only 3 suites. We had a suite on the first floor and it was very good and very clean. The hotel is situated just 100 m from the Charles Bridge, and everything in the central Prague is in walking distance. If... More

So far I have stayed at the Hotel Cafe Dvorak twice in the last few years, on both occasions I was not disappointed. The location is simply superb and perfect for sight seeing or simply chilling out. The hotel is very individual and extremely well managed, the staff are friendly and really helpful, the food is also first class. The... More

This hotel deserves lots of recommendations. Situated close to the Charles Bridge on the Kampa island you can easily reach every part of Prague on foot. It is a remarkable experience to come down from the crowded Charles Bridge and find this cosy and very quiet place, almost resembling a village, close to the river and with no traffic. Hotel... Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
