The Green Garland was a terrific find, so close to Old Town, close? Hah, you're in Old Town. It's three blocks from the town center and three blocks from the New Bridge. Its about 100' off the "main" street, on a side street that looks like an alley, but it is a thru street and very quiet. The room on... More

The location of this pension is outstanding - less than a 5 minute walk from the old town square, the Charles bridge and other major sites. The rooms are comfortable with modern bathrooms and the breakfast is very nice.

This was a great place to stay in Old Town. My husband and I with our two children in their 20's stayed in the family suite which was two large bright rooms, one with the beds and one with a small table and chairs. It was clean, bright and airy even though the building dates from the 1400's. I would... More

After arriving 3 hours late from Amsterdam (getting to the hotel at close to 1am), I felt bad that they had been waiting for us to arrive. The manager was amazing when we arrived, and had our room and keys all ready. He was super friendly and helpful, even though we arrived so late. The room and bathroom were clean... More

Lovely pension - a very short walk to the Charles bridge. Very quiet, clean and well run. Good breakfast and very nice people. We were very satisfied with our stay. Be aware that the beds are very small and there are no blackout curtains, at least not in room 4.

If you are all about location and nice price I would definitely recommend this place! Affordable rooms with nice layout, bathrooms are nice with a shower.(towel is changed every 2nd day) bedroom was big with a small commode and a large closet by the enterence. The view is non existent(small Prague streets don't really allow you that). Everything is nearby,... More

We stayed 5 days and it was a very cozy and clean accommodation. The location of this quiet pension cannot be beaten for visiting Prague: very central in the Old Town and short walk to all major sights. Friendly staff. Easy English communication. I will definitely come back here!

Wehad a fantastic time here! Extremely friendly host- always willing to give advice on where to go and give directions, great room and perfect location. No TV- but who needs it when you are in Prague! Lovely European breakfasts and clean rooms. We will definitely be back!

The four of us (2 adults and 2 children) spent three great nights here in the family room. The room was quite large with a king bed and two singles. There was a small entry room with a table, dresser and wardrobe. Also, two comfortable chairs in the room. Often family rooms can be quite crowded with multiple beds, but... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
