Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, hotel is clean and very spacious. There is plenty of choice for breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful. Most of the tourist attractions are within walking distance.

Stayed in hotel with wife and 6 friends for 3 nights in March 2015. All 4 Rooms were huge and spotless and beds were comfortable. Staff were professional and helpful. Good selection for breakfast and because we had to depart early on the last day we were provided with a pack up at no extra cost. Would recommend this establishment... More

I stayed here for a conference - and loved it! The hotel is in perfect place for both the Castle and the University, with tram just outside. Thee are many nice restaurants and wine bars nearby, and the hotel has a gym should you feel energetic. A nice walk/hill just opposite. I really loved it. Reminded me how much I... More

We had a bargain break (4 couples) at the Hotel Roma and couldn't have been more pleased with the quality of the Hotel, the helpfulness of the staff, and the value for money. On arrival, one of the couples requested a different room, not because the room was inferior but they wanted a different location, and the receptionist immediately arranged... More

As we entered the hotel from the side and after saying hi to the shark in the tank we were greeted well at the reception, a brief description of the hotel followed which is all you really need. Our room was at the rear on the first floor ,ok the view is not the best but as its dark when... More

The hotel is well located and clean. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was excellent. We stayed five nights and enjoyed opera and ballet and naturally good and cheap food and bear :). We travelled alot by tram and by metro. The bad thing was that our room was 118 and it was a new building with very thin... More

Very pleased with our stay at this hotel. Reception staff in particular deserve a mention in their capacity as "unofficial tour guides/advisors". So helpful. Large, clean bedroom with excellent bathroom facilities. Large lobby area that doubled up as the bar. Bar staff seemed slow and the bar was understocked and twice ran out of certain things eg red wine on... More

Just returned from a lovely 3 day break to Prague, booked through last.minute.com and this Hotel did not disappoint. Arrived at "silly o'clock" due to delayed Wizz Air flight, but taxi laid on by Hotel in advance was waiting for us as arranged. Greeted by warm and welcoming receptionist despite our 2am check in. Breakfast was adequate for our needs,... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 4 nights in January and had an excellent stay in this hotel! Our room was very spacious and clean and the bathroom also. Breakfast was lovely - a good selection of pastries, yoghurt, fruits and hot food and there were always clean tables. The hotel is within good walking distance to Charles bridge... More

A good hotel, we received a very confortable and big room. I did not like the shower, it is not positioned above us, I needed to hold it while taking a bath. The hook was also broken, I complained, they promissed to have a look, but they did not. The breakfast is very good, they have many kinds of fresh... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
