I chose this hotel as I wanted to stay somewhere in the Lesser Town. After reading a few TripAdvisor reviews this hotel seemed the ideal location. As mentioned by other reviewers, it is within walking distance of all main attractions. The hotel has a good reception and bar area. Drinks are reasonable priced. Breakfast is a buffet with good selection... More

Handy for the trams and public transport and a short walk to the King Charles Bridge and river. You enter into a large bar and reception area, reception staff friendly and welcoming. I had a large room on the 3rd floor, small hallway area opening into a large room with plenty of space, the floors are brick with no carpets... More

Lovely hotel very close to everything, we didn't need to use public transport, the staff were really friendly and helpful, great price as well, I would highly recommend. Very good price as well and good beer on the bar downstairs. If I come back to Prague I would stay here again.

Great hotel with a great location. As first on the map, the hotel can seem far from the center but once you experience it, it's the best location you can get. Since some touristic locations are close to hotel (Prague Castle, Petrina hill etc.) the hotel is the middle of everything. Only 15min of walk to go to Wenceslas Square... More

Very convenient location , access to public transportation . Good breakfast . Big, clean rooms with minibars . What bothers us is that there was not a double bed but two single beds attached . Service at reception was good and we got a room early.

In general, the hotel was clean and in good location, just across the river. That's really convenient to go to old town by walking. That hotel has sauna and fitness room. If you would like to use the sauna, remember to ask hotel staff one hour in advance. I used the sauna in the first evening, hotel staff didn't tell... More

Dear Guests, thank you very much for your review, its nice to see that you enjoyed location, bar and staff service. I was sad to read that your stay with us did not meet your expectations because of misunderstanding regarding the extra fee of sauna (the extra fee is 250 CZK per hour). I promise you that all your comments... More

Excellent location near public transfer, very good Czech restaurants and supermarkets. Reception very friendly and knowledgeable about Prague. We had 2 big, beautiful rooms on the second floor, 201 and 203 facing the hill. Will defnitly use the hotel again.

We are a couple in our thirties and this is he second time we've stayed at this hotel. The first time was ten years ago and we stayed again from 10th December for three nights. Our room was very big and well furnished with a large modern bathroom. Lovely hotel reception with very reasonable bar. The bar staff were very... More

Ive divided this into pros and cons the Pros // lovely staff, the breakfast was large. It wasnt always the same as I saw some posts say. The location is on the flat as I would say. I was travelling with my mother and hills are out for her so the hotel I normally stay at in a more central... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
