The best feature of the Hotel Roma is it's excellent location. It is across the road from the Petrin Hill Funicular and at the intersection of six tram lines. Here's what I liked the best... 1. Location... it is easy to get around Prague using the trams and Metro. 2. Breakfast... very nice hot and cold selection 3. Free Computer... More

We stayed at the hotel for a week and found it to be in a good location not far from Charles Bridge. Hotel a was very clean but our room was facing the main road so was a bit noisy but got used to it. Staff were very helpful providing information and directions to various locations. Breakfast was continent but... More

The hotel is in a great location just opposite the funicular. It is a short walk to Charles Bridge and all if the main attractions. There are plenty of good restaurants and a bar that is open until 6am all a few doors away from the hotel. The hotel itself was very nice with big rooms that were cleaned every... More

A 4 star hotel close to the old city, convenient tram stop, and Charles bridge. Convenient location with all you would expect from a 4 star hotel but with some unusual features in our room. The toilet pan was unusually high and the shower rose was at mid chest height. Neither were a real problem, just minor quirks as was... More

Really nice hotel with clean, comfortable rooms, helpful, friendly staff and a good choice at breakfast. Two things could be improved- perhaps some notices in the corridors the rooms are on and by the lifts reminding guests that other people may be sleeping and not to make a lot of noise (we were woken two mornings in a row at... We stayed in Hotel Roma for our first wedding anniversary. The staff were very helpful when I emailed them directly to arrange a transfer from the airport and some other additional surprises for the wife. On arriving to Prague our driver had a clearly marked sign as well as being polite and helpful he also let us know about some... More

Good customer service, breakfast, and room. The room is pretty clean. The breakfast is delicious. They serve salad every day and sometimes hot vegetables. Location is very convenient to local tourist attractions and public transportation. We walked to Chales bridge. There is free wifi.

The hotel was really well situated, walking distance across the bridge to the Old Square and the other sites. Charles Bridge also a brief walk away. Rooms are perfect, good size and well furbished with great cleaning. Wifi is excellent. Also as a bonus the shark in the lobby is brilliant.

Awesome staff. Decent sized rooms. Very clean. Great included breakfast. Nice to have workout space. Location was located in mala strana which isn't in the super touristy areas but very centerally located and can quickly walk to all top tourist spots. I found this to be very nice. Only downside was the wifi wasn't as fast as I would have... More

Myself and my wife stayed in this hotel in November. Excellent location as it's a pleasant 10 minutes walk through a nice park to the Charles bridge an the old town. The room was really big and spacious with minibar. The bar and lobby downstairs was really nice with a garden/terrace outside. The price was excellent also for 3 nights.... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
