We stayed at Hotel Roma in a triple room for one night. We chose this hotel as it has a car park and as it is centrally located. The room was very big and had a queen size bed and a single bed. It had a TV, a safety deposit and a fridge. WIFI is free. The car park costs... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. Overall, we were happy Pros: Nice staff, particularly the adorable night receptionist guy Nice lobby Decent breakfast, fast espresso machine Perfect location for sightseeing A/C Cons: Not great soundproofing between the rooms, the doors slamming/guy hacking for 20 minutes/maids were quite loud

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is outside of the crush of people but in easy walking distance of the major sites. It is also close to the river that is so much a part of Prague’s charm Close also to great restaurants. I found the staff truly helpful

This hotel is well situated in the Mala Strana area of Prague, away from the really busy areas on the other side of the river. The room was comfortable, although the beds were a little firm for my taste. Some people have commented it can be noisy if you're in a room fronting on to the main street. Ours didn't... More

Good location, friendly staff and clean rooms but noisy. The breakfast was superb.Large lobby area that doubled up as the bar. Bar staff seemed slow and the bar was understocked and twice ran out of certain things eg red wine on second night of our stay. Outstanding breakfast - one of the best we have encountered anywhere on our travels.... More

We have just returned from a lovely break in Prague and we can highly recommend Hotel Roma! It was spotlessly clean, staff were friendly & efficient. The buffet breakfast was very nice and catered for every taste. The wifi was free and and a good strength in the room so no sitting in the lobby every time you needed to... More

The location was good, everything nearby. The breakfast was good. At our arrival we discovered we had a twin bed instead of a double bed (we especially asked for a double) and they didn't have another room for us (for the next 4 nights). The room we had (room 320) was very noisy; I couldn't sleep because of the noise... More

The "Roma" hotel in Prague is a very good choice in a beautiful city. Situated some 500meters from Charles bridge, Mala Strana, you can basically walk to a lot of interesting places. The impressive Kampa park is right behind the hotel, where you can dine or lunch in a number of good restaurants, take a walk or just stand on... More

This is a modern hotel behind an older frontage. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfotable and breakfast ample, though crowded on one of the days we visited. Staff were helpful. What distinguished it for me weretwo things. First the location: away from the noises of central Prague but a short and safe walk across the bridge, and conveniently close to... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
