This hotel had some great aspects and some not so great. I'm giving them 4 out of 5 because to be honest for the money you pay it's a good value and the pro's seemed to out weigh the con's. The location was great, it's on the Prague Castle side of the river close to Charles Bridge (although I would... More

I am truly satisfied with the location of this hotel. It is almost walking distance to everywhere in Prague. I bought a 3-day pass but rarely used it. Besides, this location is a little bit away from the crowded areas(old town, charle bridge etc) thus makes me a good sleep every night. The hotel stuffs are nice too. After checked... More

Situated in Lesser Town,a very beautiful but less touristy area. Hotel is opposite funicular railway to Petrin gardens and tower, is on tram route 22 to castle and cathedral and is within ten minute walk of the Charles Bridge and Old & New Towns. Wonderful rooms - we went for cheaper option but had what felt like a luxury suite.... More

The hotel was nothing spectacular, but it was fair for the price. Accommodations could have been better, a bit cleaner, but for Prague it was good. We had visited Prague years ago and the town was very different so it was great to see that things are improving.

just returned from a 5 days holiday in Beautiful prague. Roma hotel is a great 4 star hotel, staff are very kind and attentive, breakfast is very good with variaty of hot&cold buffet. The only fault is they pick up everything, including coffee and hot water at 10:00 sharp. I mean if breakfast is from 07:00 to 10:00, it means... More

The hotel is nice - but a bit of an old building. I would say calling it a 4-star is stretching it a bit. Some people might find it quaint. One feature is they do have some rooms with bidet facility (in the bathroom) - you have to ask for it specifically. They do not provide this information on their... More

The hotel was very nice, quiet, comfortable and clean. The location si very close to the sites but far enough to be away for the hordes of people. The staff is attentive, cold as is usual in Prague but professional. The breakfast is very good.

Stayed for 1 week in June 2015 with my wife and we enjoyed the hotel very much. Its location was perfectly away from the city centre and nicely close to some of the must-see sights. Connections to public transport were also very handy. Our room was clean & tidy and nicely located facing the back yard. Breakfast was also rich... More

The best feature of the Hotel Roma is it's excellent location. It is across the road from the Petrin Hill Funicular and at the intersection of six tram lines. Here's what I liked the best... 1. Location... it is easy to get around Prague using the trams and Metro. 2. Breakfast... very nice hot and cold selection 3. Free Computer... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
