What an absolute gem of a hotel. Had the pleasure of staying here for 4 nights in the middle of June. The hotel is situated 5 minutes away from the castle on a lovely little cobbled street and about 10 minutes away from Charles Bridge. The room was absolutely beautiful. Big room with high ceilings and very elegantly decorated. There... More

The hotel location is very convenient just next to the Prague castle with easy access to other landmarks on foot or by tram; hotel staff is very friendly and the hotel is relatively clean. However the setbacks are that the room wifi is unreliable; if you have luggage and need to use the elevator you'll have to change it twice.... More

I stayed here for 4 nights with my family at the start of a multi-country tour. We had a large room split over 2 levels with a large double bed and a double sofa bed. The room and the hotel generally were very clean and well maintained and everything mostly worked well. The one not so good thing was the... More

Had a wonderful stay here at The Golden Wheel Hotel. The building itself was architecturally quirky with many nooks and crannies leading off in differing directions. An historic building with attachments to Prague Castle, the hotel even had an original well inside! I would advise that this is not a very suitable hotel if you are a wheelchair user, not... More

I just came back from a trip to Europe with my husband and two small kids. This Prague hotel is just in a perfect location. I had a room with a double bed and an extra bed and it had a lot of extra space. The service is great. Leonardo at the front desk is AWESOME. He's very knowleadgable and... More

Hotel was excellent, staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room was spacious enough and was clean. Location was perfect right in the old part which was busy in the day but quiet at night and a pleasant 25 minute walk taking in the beautiful architecture, market stalls and parks leading to the city centre.

My husband and I spent 4 nights in this lovely little boutique hotel. Rooms were big and spacious and the bed very comfortable with a great view of the pretty street below. Breakfast was of a high quality. Staff were very friendly and always happy to help with anything we needed. The location is great only 10-15 minute leisurely walk... More

Central but quiet location, far enough from highly crowded and noisy touristic tracts. Very helpful and warm staff. Tasty open buffet breakfast. Clean and confortable room. Stylish decoration which will always remind you Prague, as an amazing classical European city.

Stayed here in March for my 21st birthday with my boyfriend and we absolutely loved it. We stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast was so varied in choice and ran for quite a few hours so you didn't feel you had to get up and rush too much. Rooms were lovely and spacious and always clean! Amazing views from... More

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
