We just returned from a fabulous vacation in Prague. This hotel was spectacular! We stayed in the attic apartment which was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location of U Tri Bubnu was absolutely perfect! It was within walking distance of all the sights, restaurants, and shopping. The breakfast could have offered more choices, but it was fine. I would definitely... More

A medieval building converted to a hotel. No elevator. No two rooms alike. Made reservations through email to have someone pick us up at airport, take us on tours to Terezin (concentration camp just outside Prague, to Kraków and back. Just delightful people. Just steps from Olde Town Square and great value. Very comfortable. Spoke English.

Images on the website look great, but that is not like the room we were in. There are two parts to this hotel, we were in another part just around the corner. It's a lovely old building with heaps of character. But if you can't climb flights of wooden winding steps it's not for you, coming down was equally as... More

I booked this hotel due to the good reviews/ratings and reasonable pricing, it is in a great location next to a very good absintherie and in the center of everything, just around the corner from the main square, the staff were lovely and very helpful, the room was big and spacious, we were on the second floor which is alot... Fantastic location in the Old Town, access to everything you need, clean, comfortable, spacious, secure. Wifi excellent. Had problems with the fridge and hairdryer first night but was dealt with efficiently. Negatives- Have to pay for every up of tea or coffee in room(we bought tea bags and milk for the ost of 3 cups of tea!) Breakfast pretty ordinary.... More

This hotel could not be in a better location, just around the corner from the main square. The staff were quite helpful, recommending not only good restaurants but what to order. It is an older hotel, but we liked the character, squeaky floors, climb up three flights of steps and all. For us, this added to experience of Prague (we... More

We had booked to standard double rooms. The other one was big enough, however the room was on the top floor, which is normally a positive thing. In this case it is not, because there is no lift, so for some people this might be very uncomfortable. We managed. The other room was absolutely too small, so please ensure, that... More

We stayed here for 3 nights, this is not a modern hotel but if you like quirkiness and character then it's for you. The room we had (19) was huge. The bathroom is very modern and clean. The bed, although firm, wasn't uncomfortable. Breakfast is what it says it is, rolls, ham, cheese, cereal, coffee, fruit juice, pastries and fresh... More

is more a hostel than a hotel. An old building with very steep stairs -and no lift!!!-. the breakfast is dreadful and the breakfast room so small that sometimes there is not enough place for everybody (and no place to wait if you do not want to climb up to your room 3 or 4 floors), the rooms do not... U Tri Bubna Hotel is in the perfect location in the beautiful city of Prague. It is in the center of the Old Town and next to the town square. The hotel staff was super helpful and did everything possible to make our stay a memorable one. We knew about the steps in the hotel before we booked the room... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
