This is one of the few places to stay which is everything advertised: fantastic location in the old city (unbelievably well-located--a one minute walk to the clock, 5 minutes to the Charles bridge); wonderful room (large, spacious, unique); great staff (friendly, informed, and always ready to help). We used our Credit Card as a guarantee for the booking and also had to present it at the desk. We have never used the card before and paid the hotel bill in local currency. Our Credit Card was hit for £13,000 ( thirteen thousand pounds GBP ) in fraudulant transactions soon after. more
