The staff was absolutely fantastic! They were helpful and catered to all of our needs! The hotel is in a great location and the rooms were clean. The room was a little small but it was all we needed, a bed, bath and great location. I can't say enough good things about the staff and location. Wonderful hotel, highly recommend.

A charming hotel located in the heart of the tourist district. It is literally located below Prague Castle, 10 minute walk away from Charles Bridge and a 20 minute walk from the Old Town & Wenceslav Square. The real factor to consider with this hotel is that it's located at the top of the same hill as Prague Castle, overlooking... More

I chose this hotel from a list as part of package deal. My decision was based solely on location. What a pleasant surprise. Friendly staff, wonderful design elements, interesting breakfasts. (I was somewhat surprised to find a bathtub in the room. Yes, not in a separate room.)

I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Neruda, between 20-23/3/15. I wanted a big bath+bed,Wi-Fi and proximity to the center. Well, I got more than I expected. The hotel is warm and inviting, the crew are amazing, the rooms are restored and new. My favorite thing were the big wooden beams. Breakfast was great. There's also a Spa, with... More

Very friendly English speaking straff, nice breakfast. To call it a design hotel might be streaching the truth slightly, but the location is very good, practically in the basement of Prague castle, not too far from Charles Bridge.

Having read about the 'steep' hill leading up Nerudova to the hotel we were a little anxious about our choice, but it turns out to be no more than a gentle stroll up from the Charles Bridge and in any case there is a very regular service from Tram 22 to Tram Stops just through the castle itself or through... This is a good hotel. Excellent location just under the Castle and on a beautiful street, a lovely 10 mins stroll from Charles Bridge. Our room - a Deluxe - was pretty good, with loads of space and a spectacular bath. The design of the hotel is pretty good; a rabbit warren of corridors connecting old and new with lots... More

Quaint and quirky, well maintained, good decor, comfy bed, friendly staff. Has a nice upmarket quality feel. 2 flights of steep quirky stairs to our room in the new part - not for the faint of heart, but young travellers will love it. Nice quiet and comfy room with view of the castle.

Dear Airedale, thank you for taking your time and writing us review about your recent stay. We are glad to see overall satisfaction and that you enjoyed your stay with relatives. Due to location of the hotel in on of the most historical part of the city it wasn't easy to customize hotel interior - this is a reason of... More

Since this was our first visit to Prague we were a bit concerned about our selection of hotel location, doing it simply by research, but this was a really excellent choice and exceeded our expectations. There was an indication of how good it would be by an email exchange with Michaela before we arrived. She gave us perfect directions by... More

I booked this hotel for our anniversary and opted for the most expensive room ( i think they call them Deluxe room) our room was at the 'new' building no 1. Very spacious but lots of missing things like a curtain, a shower, nightstands with a light, electric sockets. Very unpractical room. We asked for another room and got it.... More

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
