We stayed here for three nights of four this weekend. Our first night we were accommodated in another hotel due to an issue with our room. This was not a problem and we were moved to an equally wonderful hotel. On our return the staff were delightful and so helpful. I would definitely advise taking a taxi up the hill... More

Stayed in this hotel recently on a weekend break with my girlfriend. Having never been to Prague before I had no idea what to expect, however as soon as we arrived into the city, I could tell an interesting weekend lay ahead. The hotel itself was located within a few minutes walk of Prague Castle, and around 10-15 minutes walk... More

Booked this hotel just a day before travelling without knowing much about Prague and the different districts. To our surprise this happened to be the best area, the historical part which 'is a scenery' and very quiet since no public transportation passes from here. Public transport is either 500m downhill or 800m uphill from the hotel. The slope uphill back... More

I've titled this review "Interesting stay", because that's what sums it up best. Not good, not bad, but interesting. We stayed for 5 nights in room 202. We booked what was labelled as a "Superior Room". Let's start with the things I liked: - Location You cannot beat the location. Its right beneath the castle hill, and 5 minutes by... More

We missed one night here because of a delay in Poland. But I have to say it's so comfy and close to many of the city's attractions. The receptionist on arrival, Nikola, gave us all the help we needed. All the other staff were very helpful too. Breakfast was awesome. Highly recommend this.

If you looking for a place to relax after walking around in the city, this is the place. Cozy room, wonderful breakfast, staff very friendly and helpful. Watch out for taxis in the road they will charge you triple prices, just ask the hotel to call a taxi for you.

Dear Janete, Thank you very much for your brief and apt review of our hotel! We were all very pleased to read that you enjoyed all aspects of your stay in Design Hotel Neruda. It is true that there still are quite many dishonest taxi drivers in the city, therefore our hotel car is the best option, whether you need... More

Loved staying here. The breakfast is AMAZING! So much choice and all so tasty. The rooms were spacious and comfy, only drawback being the bathrooms had Frosted glass doors so privacy is a little limiting! Great location being so close to the castle. The staff were helpful and friendly. The spa facilities were cute and perfect for small groups/couples.

I have little bit mixed feelings for this hotel, other hand it was nice but especially with the room could many things be better. Location is really close to Prague castle, you could say that it is attached to it. To get to Hotel you need to walk really steep hill, and closest tram-stop is about 500m away. I could... More

Nice place to go, design room yes, not very practical with a toilet in a glass cabin without zink or ventilation. You wash your hands in the room with the showecabin and have to go across the bedroom to get there, that makes you think.... spooky stuff on the handles, especially because in the 4 days of our stay, the... The hotel is divided into two blocks connected with a passage. Wouldn't recommend the rooms on the ground floor since guests walking through the passage can see through the full sized windows that each of the rooms have. The location is good, though up a slope! Breakfast and wifi is included.

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
