The best thing about this hotel is the position in relation to Charles Bridge, town square which means it is easy to get around on foot, no guided tours for us. However the hotel is dark & dingy, the room though average size was very basic. The bed ( 2 singles pushed together) was uncomfottable for my husband, the bottom... More

This hotel is right near Charles Bridge and Karlova, but is not crawling with tourists. Comfortable, clean and spacious room, and the heated towel rack was a nice touch. Breakfast was good with coffe and tea and an array of cereal, toast, jam, cold cuts, cheese and boiled eggs. We also ate at the restaurant for dinner which was nice.... More

We stayed here for three nights in March and would stay there again! It's not the best hotel I've ever stayed in; but it was clean & tidy, staff were very friendly, although they spoke very little English it wasn't an issue. The hotel is just a few streets away from the Old Town Square and a short walk to... More

Stayed here for three nights, comfortable and very centrally located, 5 minute walk to Charles Bridge and 10 minutes from the old town hall, the bedroom is spacious and cleaned daily, the reception area doubles as a bar and restaurant, breakfast is continental and plentiful, the staff are very friendly and helpful, there is also an excellent cellar bar that has... The hotel is located in the center of town. It comes with a proper free breakfast. The restaurant is cheap and I had a tasty czech dinner there which was on par with more expensive restaurants I ate at. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and large. I will stay there again next time I'm in Prague.

Average hotel with basic services, but located in the heart of the old town movement, and cheap. It is comfortable, silent and clean. Breakfast is poor, but there is a lot of cafès around if better better starting for the day is required. The only bad thing is that most of the personnel don't speak even a word of english.... More

The location was great near the Old Town Square. However, the hotel was somewhat disappointment. The reception was open only in the morning and in the evenings, of which they hadn't informed us. We arrived at noon to leave our luggage there but the whole place was dark and empty. Tried to call their number but it went to a... More

This hotel is close to everything, yet tucked down a quiet side street so you will get a good night sleep. Out room was large with a nice bathroom. Even though there is a club downstairs, we never had an issue with noise. The staff was very friendly and fluent in English. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at the hotel for two nights in October. It is just in the heart of Prague, 2 mins walk from Cahrles bridge, 2 mins from Old town square. The rooms are cosy and comfortable, clean, new, they have everything one needs on a city break. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast could have some other options for... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
