Unlike the impersonal and similar nature of large chain hotels, the Hotel Petr was a pleasant change with more than adequate features. We found the staff to be always welcoming and responsive to any expressed needs. The front desk offered money exchange, purchase of tram tickets, and tickets to many concerts. The buffet breakfast was adequate to start the day.... More

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Petr from December 26, 2014 to January 3, 2015. The hotel is not luxurious but it is comfortable, clean and affordable. Buffet breakfast is served each morning and coffees and teas are available all day. The staff at the front desk was extremely helpful with arranging even tickets and taxis.

This hotel was fine. But that's it. It was convenient, but there were others nearby. The room was severely dated. The lift stopped between floors so you still had to take your bags up stairs. The breakfast was simple. The staff were at best disinterested and sometimes genuinely unfriendly. It was ok, that's all. We won't be back.

Me and 3 friends stayed at this hotel on the 19th - 22nd of December, and i can honestly say it was brilliant from start to finish! The location was perfect (about £4 in a taxi to the centre) and was very close to everything we needed, there is a shopping mall 2 minutes walk away from the hotel where... More

We stayed there for 4 nights; the hotel is located close to the tram stop in Kinsky square and Stefanikova street that leads you straight to Andel metro station, very convenient. A tram will take you to Mala Strana and Hradcany in minutes - these are must-see's in Prague, as well as the wonderful sights from Petrsin hill and viewtower.... More

We stayed 7 nights at Hotel Petr. This hotel is situated in a convenient location close enough to city center and transportation, yet not in the middle of the tourist area.Several excellent restaurants within walking distance - local restaurants where locals eat, yet they accommodate English speakers.Vegetarian restaurant right across the street. The hotel is very neat and clean and... More

After a 5 night stay I can confirm that this is an excellent choice for someone looking for a place to stay in Prague. It has more character than the large chain hotels, with only about 40 rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful - tickets for a concert were obtained at the front desk and charged to our... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. It is about a 20 min walk to the castle & the cathedral and about a 5 min walk to the river. The hotel was clean but a little dated, the breakfast was basic but sufficient.

We had a large room with 3 beds (large enough so that we didn't feel overcrowded). The beds were comfortable. The room was clean even though it was not modern (might need some refurbishing some day). The beds were made every day. The bathroom was small (compared to the room size) and the water pressure was very weak in the... More

Stayed here during a trip to many cities across Europe. Staff is not very helpful with tourist questions and rooms were dirty with bugs in light fixture. Very small bathroomn Extra charge (2 Euro / night) for use of safe. Breakfast is minimal and overall feeling of not clean. Location could be better. Overall, you could find better value elsewhere
