We had a large room with 3 beds (large enough so that we didn't feel overcrowded). The beds were comfortable. The room was clean even though it was not modern (might need some refurbishing some day). The beds were made every day. The bathroom was small (compared to the room size) and the water pressure was very weak in the... More

Stayed here during a trip to many cities across Europe. Staff is not very helpful with tourist questions and rooms were dirty with bugs in light fixture. Very small bathroomn Extra charge (2 Euro / night) for use of safe. Breakfast is minimal and overall feeling of not clean. Location could be better. Overall, you could find better value elsewhere

The location of the hotel was very great, only 20 min away to Charles Bridge on foot. The hotel was very quiet and the receptionists were helpful. Our room was very clean. There were some nice local restaurants around the hotel. Since we wanted to avoid touristic part of the city, we were pleased to find good quality small restaurants... More

I stayed four nights in a double room, single use on the top floor. All in it was a very good choice for the money. I wanted to stay close enough to the tourist center that I could walk to all the main sites but didn't want to be in the fray. The Hotel Petr is in a great residential... More

This was our first stay in Prague, so I'm not sure how to compare this to other hotels from Prague. I definitely did not have the feeling of getting value for money. Maybe it's because the furniture felt outdated, some of the towels were grey, they needed replacement, and the windows did not shut completely - they let much of... More

We stayed here for three nights in April. It's a very charming building with tall doors and windows- very nice to feel like you're actually in Prague instead of a modern room that could be anywhere. The rooms are a little dated, but surprisingly we had the best sleep of our entire trip there! Everything was clean enough- we are... More

* the breakfast didnt have a lot of items, but it is good anyway :) * Be sure to read the "hotel rules and regulations" manual, you'll find this in your room. It's not all RULES. We didn't care to read this at first, but turned out, they had a write up here of the places to see which is... More

This is a great place to stay in Prague, the staff are friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is homely. The location is just about right as well, far enough out of the tourist spots to be a quiet retreat, close enough for a 10 minute stroll or a quick tram ride (a must for Prague, ensure you pick up... This hotel was the home-base for the Architecture and Art Road Scholar program (24 participants). For one week in April, this was home. It certainly felt like that as all the staff was welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate our requests by providing maps and excursion information and tram instructions. The self-serve buffet breakfast was delicious and... More
