We had a long weekend away in Prague from 10th to 12th May 2013. This apartment is located 5 minutes walk from the centre of the centre, coffee shops, night clubs, restaurants are all at hand on the way there already. The accomodation we had was for 6 people on the 5th floor with a bathroom. It was spacious (main... More

We stayed here two days before New Year's. The apartment is part of a hostel and we loved the location. The apartment was in the attic style - the one with the low and incline ceilings. Breakfast wasn't great but it was included (which is always nice). Wi-Fi available for free. It is hard for me to evaluate the staff... More

Not recommended, because of safety problems. Probably some persons of staff are corrupted and work with stealer, providing info from video cameras if guest leave a room (e.g. just to visit facilities on the floor).

I was traveling with my friend from Germany. We arrived on the 24th of December 2009, we had already booked another hotel maybe 4 months before our arrival it was 4 stars with a good price but it turned out that the hotel we booked was far from the downtown and all of the clubs so we booked travellers hostel... We didn't end up staying here, we took one look and left! I do know some people who have stayed here previously and had good experiences, so my situation may be an exception to the norm. We booked a double but ended up in a quad- it looked like it hadn't been cleaned since summer, there were squashed mosquitos and... More

Hostel and apartments are located in Old Town Prague and exteremely accessible to all the sightseeing areas. Apartments were located on the 5th floor and required a key to get on the floor so there was privacy. Price of a 3 bed apartment (the room was more like a studio and the beds were single) was 1800 CZK and thats... More

Fantastic Apartments! We went there with a group of 7 and it beats getting a hotel! You have your own key to the front door and apartment door and you can come in and go whenever you please. Also you all sleep close together since all the bedrooms are off the main livingroom which is great if you are with... More

We stayed at this hostel for two days and found it very well run. We stayed in a 10 bed room and had large lockers for our bags. Positives: We received a helpful map of nearby areas with lots of shops and services listed (groceries, different types of restaurants, barbers etc) which made it easy to explore the neighborhood. It... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
