The hotel is not a bad choice for a short stay in Prague mainly due to its great location and low prices during off-season. Room was ok. Shortcomings were: no internet connection, torn towels, non-functional remote controller and wet floor in the washroom. Also, it was quite uncomfortable when we realized that we could open our room with the same... More

There isn't a reception which makes it problematic if you have a crisis like in our case where the wifi isn't working. The lady however helped us find our way to the airport. There is someone there till 1:30pm. The bed was very old and had a hole in. Mattress is a write-off. We weren't expecting much for that price,... More

I am not going to pretend that this is the most luxurious place to stay, because it isn't. But what it is, is clean, comfortable and an ideal base for discovering (or rediscovering in my case) the delights that Prague has to offer in the run up to Christmas. We were given the third floor "Art Deco" apartment which comprised... More

I really am confused with the bad reviews on here! The location is brilliant I mean a walkable distance into the Jewish Quarter, Old town and New Town. I can't big the location up enough. I found the rooms clean and absolutely fine. As me and my boyfriend just wanted the hotel as a 'base' it was fine. We really... More

We stayed there as a part of our trip to other place (fortunately). If you arrive after 1:30 pm forget about reception desk or any of the staff. You get a key from safe placed outside and you're on your own. We had some problems with getting a key and a help button was silent. They didn't answer the phone... More

Not recommended for a honeymoon stay, which was the reason for our trip. It's the top floor of a sketchy looking building with the world's scariest elevator. Front desk only operates a few hours in the morning so you're on your own for a late check in. There's mediocre WiFi and breakfast consisting of odd spreads (foie gras, cheese, jams),... More

(we were only two persons), Plus TV, kitchen, microwave, washing machine, towel (bit small), fridge, two couches and dinner table...breakfast is included, in the fridge, free wifi. The... More

We booked room type apartment and got huge room with bath up and shower separately.Almost like our apartement that we're stay in our home country.A bit noisy area because tram, car, etc but after a few days we use to hear that and not annoying us during our stay in there. Furnitures a bit vintage and in our room has... More

Good things: The room is quite spacious but it is not very modern. There are hair dryer, TV, safe, kettle and even microwave in the room. Towels are provided too. It is a 8-10 minutes walk from old town square. So it is convenient yet not too noisy. Breakfast contains loaf of bread, tea or coffee, yogurt, waffle snack bar,... More

Clean and tidy with a sizable breakfast, which could be used for lunch as well. The place is on the 5th floor of an apartment blocks, which is a bit of a heave with a big suitcase although there is a lift. The location, just on the edge of Josefov, is an easy walking distance from nearly everything this side... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
