Great place to stay. We stayed in one of the historic room which nicely decorated and large with a hand painted ceilin. The hotel/brewery dates back to 1466. Staff greets upon arrival with one of their crafted beers. The restaurant/brewery/beer garden are next door with easy access through a door in the front lobby. Breakfast was very good as well... Friendly staff and nice brewery. Restaurant is ok, but not amazing. The location is the best thing about the hotel. We got a room on the top floor and had to carry out bags up some very steep stairs on the last floor. The beds was very small. Other than that it was quiet and had a good sleep.

Great beer and cool beer hall atmosphere! X-33 is worth the hike if you like strong beer. It is a tad out of the center of Old Town but we got there with a map fairly easily, just look for the street signs on the side of the buildings. There was a section where you could sit and eat inside... More

I visited Prague with my daughter who has been studying abroad and traveling on her own for 3 weeks. First of all they greeted us at check-in with welcome beers which turned out to be our favorite variety of the trip ! Our room while not plush was adequate , beds were very comfy and shower was hot with great... More

This hotel is really great. Excellent location. Friendly staff. The welcome drink (beer of the house) is so good. Comfortable and spacious room with a bathtub. We will definitely stay there in our next visit to Prague.

We stayed here for the New Year celebrations which are amazing in Prague. This hotel is full of character, we had a spacious triple room on the third floor that had two single beds on the floor and a double bed that was reached by some wooden steps all in a beautiful room with wooden beams. There is a restaurant... More

To be clear, this is not a review of the hotel, of which i have no experience, but of the various bars. We wanted to sample the speciality beers brewed on this premise and were shuttled from one bar to the next till we eventually found the "right" bar. The staff there were most unwelcomng and would not let us... More

The U Medvidku Brewery Hotel is minutes from the Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, etc. It had a very expansive breakfast included, complimentary beer on arrival and is family friendly. It was next door to a bank so we got THE best rates to change money and it was on the corner of a main tram stop. There's also a grocery... More

We stayed in this hotel for 7 days. The staff mostly spoke English and were very friendly and helpful. We had a room on the 1st floor overlooking the street. The soundproofing was excellent with no sounds to be heard from the road below. The double bed was comfortable and the bathroom modern with a very good shower. The location... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
