What a lovely hotel this is. Very clean and tidy with such friendly staff all who are young and a credit to the management. Little touches like wine and cheese in the room upon arrival plus drinks on the terrace with a short guided intro to the the city was lovely. Was given sparkling wine on my birthday which was... Definitely a great place to stay during your Prague-visit. Far above the noise of the old city and the commercial souvenir shops you will find Questenberk; an oasis of calm, public transport (tram 22) within walking distance and a lovely terrace. The chef is of very large class and prepares the finest cuisine. The hotel has everything you, the pampered... More

The hotel is ideally located next to major attractions, great restaurants, and maybe has the best view in the city! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the food is fantastic, but this is all secondary to the wonderful staff. The staff made the difference here, they are exceptional in every way and need to be properly recognized, I have never... More

My husband and I stayed at the Questenberk for 5 nights in July of 2014. Our stay there, and our dealings with the staff, were a pleasure from start to finish. I had several communications via email with Jacob and other staff members to clarify our booking and to make a change to it. Each time, the communications were courteous... More

I very rarely write reviews on trip advisor, but I felt compelled to after staying at Questenberk Hotel. The hotel itself is situated in fairly quiet but extremely nice part of the city close to Prague Castle and has fantastic views of the city which are second to none. There are several nice restaurants within a 2/3 minute walk of... More

Armed with our Bradshaw's my travelling companion and myself decided to complete our European railway adventure in Prague. I first visited Prague 10 years ago at Easter. Because it escaped the ravages of the second world war it is one of the most complete Baroque cities in Europe. It could be beautiful but it's fame has exceeded it's ability to... More

We have just left this lovely hotel after a wonderful 3 night stay. My parents in one room and me in another. I seriously can't fault this hotel. Customer service was excellent, even the staff who were in training. They can organise anything you want them to. They arranged for someone to pick us up from the airport and to... More

This is the best hotel we have ever stayed at. Located next to the Strahov Monastery, with stunning views of Prague, this 400 year old hotel is very impressive. The room was very comfortable and clean, with exposed beam ceilings and partial views of the castle cathedral. The staff made us feel extremely special and welcome during our stay- the... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Location of Questenberk hotel is special for its breathtaking view on the entire city of Prague. Within moments you are able to reach Prague Castle (approximately 5 minutes) and other most visited Prague's sites such as Charles Bridge, Lesser Town and Old Town square. Its unique placement gives you infinite options how to plan your journey in Prague. Only steps from our hotel you can enjoy the calm of Petrin park which is the biggest park in Prague and it is a pleasant place where to spend end of your day with an evening walk from the town. The building was built in 17th century and it served as a formal private palace to Sir Caspar Von Questenberg who was a German priest, Abbot of Strahov Premonstratensian Monastery. Sometimes the building is misinterpreted as a church, because the architecture is very similar to the one found in Strahov Monastery which is located only 2 minutes of walking through our terrace restaurant. Our hotel is suitable for clients of all ages, families with children, couples, wedding occassions or business trips. Staying in hotel Questenberk will give you unforgetable memories and will definitely make your stay in Prague even more enjoyable. ... more   less
