I came here with my friends / business partners. I can honestly say this was the best service I have ever enjoyed (if they get a pool and a gym they can easily go for 5*; service is already 5*). Since arriving to the end the staff was very helpful and courteous. Furthermore they personalized our stay in a great... More

It was an old monastery. Location is great--walking distance to the castle. If you arrive in Prague by train and need to take bus to go to the hotel, just walk across the small plaza (more like a parking lot) from the bus stop. The view from their breakfast room is awesome--but make sure to get up and have your... More

Questenberk Hotel is a historic boutique hotel in a unique location close to the castle and the monastery, with an incredible view over Prague. What makes the hotel special is the degree of detail that staff put into every aspect of welcoming and assisting guests. As first time visitors to Prague, we appreciated the customized overview of the city that... More

We had read the great reviews but this hotel still exceeded our expectations. The building had so much character, our room was in the top floor and had wonderful old beams yet modern fittings and en-suite. A bottle of wine and cheese platter in our room when we arrived (for booking on line) and sparkling wine as welcome drink. Staff... More

Book this hotel and enjoy the amazing views and service. The hotel is right below the monastery and the views from the terrace toward the city and back up to the monastery are stunning. The desk clerk spent about a 1/2 hour with us(on the terrace with our complimentary drinks) going over all there is to do in the city.... More

We loved this hotel, and had *almost* no complaints. Great location, close to castle, cathedrals but far enough from most touristy areas to be a nice, relaxing stay. Rooms were great, staff was great (Anna sat with us for a good 20 minutes to show us the map, orient us to sites to visit, etc. & Vitek answered all my... More

We just returned for a 4 day trip to Prague where we stayed for 3 nights in the Questenberk Hotel. The hotel itself is located near the Castle and about a 20 min walk away from the Charles Bridge. The views from the Terasse across Prague are just stunning. But the best about this hotel is the service! I am... More

Ever since my trip to Prague for Christmas 2013, I've raved about this lovely hotel! The Questenberk is located near the castle and the Strahov monastery, away from the crowds of tourists. The hotel building is historic and nicely furnished in a rustic style with wooden furniture and ceilings, but is also fitted with modern amenities including WiFi and a... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Location of Questenberk hotel is special for its breathtaking view on the entire city of Prague. Within moments you are able to reach Prague Castle (approximately 5 minutes) and other most visited Prague's sites such as Charles Bridge, Lesser Town and Old Town square. Its unique placement gives you infinite options how to plan your journey in Prague. Only steps from our hotel you can enjoy the calm of Petrin park which is the biggest park in Prague and it is a pleasant place where to spend end of your day with an evening walk from the town. The building was built in 17th century and it served as a formal private palace to Sir Caspar Von Questenberg who was a German priest, Abbot of Strahov Premonstratensian Monastery. Sometimes the building is misinterpreted as a church, because the architecture is very similar to the one found in Strahov Monastery which is located only 2 minutes of walking through our terrace restaurant. Our hotel is suitable for clients of all ages, families with children, couples, wedding occassions or business trips. Staying in hotel Questenberk will give you unforgetable memories and will definitely make your stay in Prague even more enjoyable. ... more   less
