We stayed in Room 6 which is so spacious and enjoys great views in three directions. The service was second to none - all the staff we dealt with were very obliging. On the first morning we were late for breakfast so it was put out again for us. That evening a bottle of Bohemian Secht (sparkling wine) and two... More

We were met at the airport by Milan (the hotels driver) and were quickly at the hotel. The hotel is in the castle district and only a short walk to the castle itself. During the day the street is very busy with a lot of tourists heading for the castle, Strahov and the walk up to Petrin. By mid afternoon... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for only one night, but wished we had spent all of our nights in Prague at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and nice, and right outside our door was a lovely terrace with a view of the Petrin Tower and gardens. The hotel is very close to... More

Domus Henrici is nestled into a hillside near Prague Castle overlooking Petrin Hill. It is charming, well-designed, extremely comfortable, and the staff was lovely. We loved our (huge!) room and the (shared) terraces for relaxing in the evening. The bathroom was also huge and the amenities were great--nice shower, nice hairdryer, basic toiletries, and big white robes. The breakfast was... More

I stayed here twice in July 2011 during a trip to the Czech and Slovak republics. The hilltop location in between the castle and the Strahov monastery, and only steps away from the 22 tram stop - and the U Cerneho Vola pub! - was picturesque and ideal for exploring. The rooms are relatively spacious and the front desk staff... More

I stayed 9 nights and loved it - the service, room quality and ambience (its very peaceful) and cleanliness were all of a very high standard. I loved the location - yes it was busy in the day, but once the castle crowds left, the area was quiet - even though there are still a reasonable number of restaurants nearby.... More

This hotel is located in the castle district of Prague. Once the tourists have left for the day (by 5 p.m.) the district is much less crowded and very quiet. Walking around in the evening we felt as if we had been transported back to the 18th century. Our room was good-sized with excellent bathroom facilities. The views from the... More

I stayed here last month with family after it was recommended by the NYTimes, and we were not disappointed. The hotel occupies an unusual terraced building that opens out on the back to a view of beautiful green hills (although do note that there are a number of stairs and no elevator, for those traveling with the disabled or elderly).... Picked up by Milan at the train station. Best thing we did because the metro system isnt as easy as other cities. The hotel is a block away from the castle but everything else is down the hill. Getting around using the #22 tram is the easiest way to get to the bottom of the hill. The hotel is old.... More

Thank you for your visit and thanks for the review to California! Yes, the hotel is VERY old and we our proud of it - with the house first mentioned in 1372 it´s more than 600 years. We are part of the UNESCO Town Heritage. The furniture looks like old, but unfortunately is not. The wifi, hifi and LCD flatscreens... More

What a great place to stay! It is a couple of minutes walk from the castle and a beautiful walk to the Charles Bridge and on into the other parts of Prague. The room was clean, modern and very comfortable. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and kind. We used their car service from the airport and they helped... More
