Affordable, friendly hotel conveniently situated near The Old Town Square and a short walking distance to Charles Bridge. Although the hotel offered dining and bar facilities, it wasn't apparent, but there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby to chose from. The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. All in all a nice hotel, catering for a few... More

Just back from Prague. Stayed in this hotel, it has all that is needed for a few days city break, it is in the old town and it backs onto the area where the Palleadium shopping centre is. The room we had was low floor and at the front of the hotel, it was noisey during the night, it seems... More

Visited this hotel for my birthday June last year, I never wrote a review at the time but 9 months on and I really want to... We booked the Superior double room with castle view! Prior to arrival I had arranged for transfer to and from the airport, our flight was delayed by 4 hours and so we didn't end... More

Excellent location very near to the historical centre, and not too expensive. Great breakfast too! Little bit noisy from passing drunk groups in the evening, but very quiet once at night. Easy to reach from the airport (use the cheap minibus; it stops a few hundred meters away!).

I visited Prague for the 4th time during March 2015, and for the 3rd time I stayed here as I enjoyed this hotel a lot. Firstly, clean rooms and decent size too. I wouldn;t say a 4 star by Uk standards, probably more like a 3 star, however the price was so reaonable we will not quibble as some have... More

We were switched here when our sister hotel was fully booked and our room had a malfunctioning smoke alarm. This was by far, the nicest hotel we stayed at on our 5 week European trip. When we arrived they were so apologetic that we had to switch, even though it wasn't their fault. Customer service was one of the best... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
