We booked the holiday through British Airways. The rooms were spacious with good beds a great bathroom with a powerful shower. Breakfast was good as was the foyer, service and bar. We ate out every day, so never used the restaurant so I cannot comment on it, but everything else was good and thoroughly 4 star as it should be.... More

The hotel is right in the middle of a bunch of strip clubs/brothels, with lots of male promoters trying to get any male walking past into their establishments. If this doesn't worry you, then the hotel is in a very handy location to all the tourist sights and is a clean and reasonably comfortable hotel. The breakfasts are very good... More

Stayed here for 3 nights over New Year. Arrived by car and found the hotel easily by using GPS. Was lucky enough to be able to park right in front to unload luggage and check-in. We were directed to a secure parking area about 300m from the hotel. Rate was a little steep - €25 per day. But then again... More

We were looking for a hotel in the heart of Prague with character and we were not disappointed. Just approaching the hotel you could tell that this was the right choice, the front of the building is a classic art nouveau design, very well maintained. How good, well we saw many people stopping to take a photo! The staff were... More

Stayed at K&K Central for 3 nights in January with family of 5. The standard triple for the kids was more than adequate - spacious and over looking Hybernska (the street in which the Hotel is located). The third bed was a converted couch/divan but was comfortable. The other room for 2 was the executive double - plenty of room... More

Stayed in this hotel for four days in early 12/2014 while on a vacation. Our party had 3 rooms and everyone enjoyed the hotel and commented on the quality and looks of the hotel. Hotel was convenient in walking distance to several old town sights and appeared to be in a safe district of town. Hotel rooms were very clean,... More

Stayed here for 4 nights in January 2015. The hotel is a short walk from the old town gate and Art Nouveau Municipal Buildings and so close too to the Old Town square, Charles Bridge etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean. The daily rate was remarkably cheap given Prague is a capital city. Breakfast... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in January. The hotel was an easy walk from the train station and walking distance to Old Town square, Charles Bridge and the Astronomical clock. The staff were friendly and check in was quick. Our room in the historic part of the building and was lovely. Breakfast was included and provided and nice selection of... More

Spent just one night there on business trip in room 209 so my experience is short-term but the impressions were very good. Room was spacious enough for one person (normally it is a double room and would be bit small for 2 persons in my opinion), had very good, spotlessly clean bathroom with bathtub and shower in one (glass door... We chose this hotel for location and the fact we had stayed in a sister hotel in Vienna. The location is excellent and only a very short walk to the old town square and Wenceslas Square. I was disappointed with the room though and the bathroom was so small I bumped my head on the counter top on more than... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
