When the hotel car brought me at the entrace I really felt like in The Great Gatsby movie. Very impressive architecture, the main elevator is amazing and very spaciouse halls. I stayed 3 nights at K+K Hotel Central and was the most quiet nights I ever spent in a hotel. The breakfast was even better, a variated and tasty buffet... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel from 18 -21 April 2015. We had an executive room in the original Art Nouveau building, reached by an efficient glass lift and it was very quiet and comfortable. The staff at the front desk were well trained and very helpful andd we never had to wait to be attended to. Breafast,... More

We stayed for 4 days in March and loved this hotel. Our flight from the US arrived in Prague at 8 am. Requested hotel car was waiting for us in the arrivals hall at the airport. I had requested an early check in and when we arrived at the hotel around 9 am our room was ready. This trip was... More

A weekend trip with a group of friends. We booked five single rooms and two twin rooms at a very reasonable price. Check in was simple and the reception staff very helpful. Rooms well furnished and clean. Free Wi Fi. Bathroom spotless. Excellent buffet breakfast included. Hotel is a pleasant ten minute walk to the Old Town square and then... More

We stayed here for three nights from last Tuesday. The hotel is a stunning conversion of an old theatre and although it's only a few minutes' walk to the main tourist sights, the hotel itself seems quiet and relaxing. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, but it didn't have any sort of view as it faced a blank wall.... More

Lovely hotel in very central location, we were on top floor (7) room lovely with underfloor heating in bathroom - it was a dry but cold weekend so this was a bonus. Breakfast was brilliant included champagne excellent. Staff very helpful nothing was too much trouble - will definitely return.

This was such a good choice. It is an amazing Art Nouveau style hotel perfectly located in the city center. The rooms are really cozy, the staff very nice and always smiling. We loved the breakfast and the the hall where it is served. And we loved the original lift cage!

If you are looking for a hotel close to the centre but away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist drag, look no further than K and K Central. 10 minutes walk to old town square and handily containing the Powder Tower as a navigational landmark at the end of the street, K and K Central is perfectly... This hotel was just perfect! The staff is very nice and service minded. The breakfast is good and the rooms are very nice! The location of the hotel is also very convenient, close to the old town and lots of nice restaurants. My boyfriend celebrated his birthday during our stay at this hotel and the staff came to our room... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
