Hotel located in a very convenient location - half block away from everything, the powder tower, banks, convenient stores and underground train etc. The building is very nice with history. Room is spacious. Staffs are generally very polite and helpful. The trip is for our honeymoon and the hotel gave us a free champaign. The breakfast included was ok, typical... More

It's not the first time we and our guests have stayed at K & K Hotel Central, nor will it be the last! We loved it before, and appreciate that the staff just continues to think of new ways to please their guests. From the professional, efficient, and friendly airport pickup to the always smiling and welcoming front desk crew,... More

Great hotel, in the perfect spot! A short walk one way had us in "Old Town" or "New Town".We arrived mid morning, after an overnight flight. Our rooms were blissfully ready, as we all were ready to go back to sleep for a few hours before hitting the street. Our king room was nicely appointed with a sitting area, desk and... More

I have little to add to previous reviews and agree that the cleanliness, breakfast and location were excellent and private airport transfer arranged by hotel was worth every penny. The hotel is next to Powder Gate, a stroll through here takes you to the old square and if you continue onwards you will end up at Charles Bridge. A couple... More

We came to the K&K by accident, as the hotel we had originally booked bungled our reservation. However, this was serendipitous as we have very much enjoyed our stay at the K&K Central. Service has been first rate--friendly and helpful. Neither my wife nor myself can get on with down pillows: not a problem. Our pillows were changed for synthetic... More

Just returned from a 3 night break at this beautiful hotel, everything was perfect. Spotlessly clean and beautiful decor throughout the hotel. Reception staff and the staff at breakfast were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a room overlooking a garden at the back, which was really peaceful. The food at breakfast was lovely too, good selection for everyone.... More

The reason we opted to stay at K+K Hotel Central in Prague was because we were able to use our airline miles to book the hotel room, so although I cannot speak to the price of the hotel, I can speak to the experience, and my husband and I enjoyed staying at the hotel! Prague was at the tail-end of... More

Beautiful hotel from the outside but not much of that charm carries through inside. There's just something missing from this place. It's all there in terms of welcoming reception with space to sit but the bar area doesn't feel relaxing or inviting. They have this odd key system too where you have to hand it in every time you leave.... More

This is our 2nd time staying at a K+K hotel (previously Barcelona) and we weren't disappointed! This hotel is in a great old building with lots of character but is very modern in terms of space and amenities. The rooms aren't luxury, but they're stylish and bright with comfortable beds. Location was fantastic too, close enough to the sites but... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
