Great location just off the Charles Bridge on the banks of the canal. Large airy and bright room with a warm breakfast (various types of eggs) available each morning with a selection of local cakes/ breads. Within a ten minute walk of Castle and with easy access to all the city via the amazing Charles Bridge I have no complaints... More

Stayed 4 nights. Great location by the Charles Bridge. Convenient for an early morning, crowd-free walk on the bridge. I had a view of the canal from my room which was nice. Room was comfortable and fine for me. The breakfast was excellent; choice of one hot item from a small menu plus continental breakfast. Great value compared to other... More

The hotel is located in Malastranska, 100 m from the Charles bridge. We had room 3 on the groundfloor, overlooking the canal. The room was large, with 2 big windows. The bathroom was also big with bathtub (slippery). The wifi was only strong at the door of the room so we had to sit on the floor and work there.... More

Had 3 night stay here and could not fault the hotel. Our room was spotless with a good modern bathroom with shower. An excellent breakfast. Scrambled eggs and omlets cooked to order and delicious. Brilliant location right by the Charles Bridge in the Bohemien quarter and within walking distance of all the tourist sites. Went on an evening cruise on... More

I stayed here with my husband and another couple in December. The hotel is pretty standard and very quiet but the location is excellent. Breakfast was fine, loved the little pots of nutella😊 I have visited Prague 5 time and always stay in Mala strana. Hotel is right on Charles bridge, we had top floor room this was quite small... Visited one afternoon to sit in the terrace by the water front but were not allowed if we didn't have food, despite it being almost empty. Generally reluctant to help or be nice to us. We did have a drink though and it was pleasant. We decided to visit the next night to eat, purely because of the view and... More

A really nice hotel situated, right in the middle of what I would call the tourist area, on the castle side of the Charles bridge. This hotel, though small, with only 20 something rooms has a "homely" feel. The staff are all very friendly and willing to help. Rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds, though ours was a twin pushed... More

We stayed here for three nights and it was perfect! The location is amazing.....so close to the Mala Strana side of the Charles Bridge, probably about 30-35 meters. A beautiful spot right near the water wheel and easy walking to all the sights. The Metro and tram stops are very close too....just a 4-5 minute walk. The hotel is small,... More

Location, service, quality and value all top-notch for this charming little gem. It is just steps from the Charles Bridge and a short walk to the tram to Prague Castle. Our large (by European standards) and immaculate room had a great view of both the bridge and the canal and was ready when we arrived early in the morning after... More

Top marks all round for this delightful hotel. We let the hotel know we would not be there until 11ish and was assurred that it would not be a problem, our rooms would be ready. First impression was we couldn't of picked a better location. Just at the bottom of the famous Charles Bridge. Our room was spacious with a... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
