We were a bit nervous before arriving because the tariff was quite low. Not a problem as everything in Prague is cheap. This hotel although a bit old, was a pleasant surprise. It is located in a quite street along with a number of other boutique hotels. Our room was quite large and well maintained. It is located close to... More

Great location, steps from Malostranska Metro stn. Walking distance to Old town Sq, Prague castle, local restaurants. Sarka at the front desk was Super amazing!! 5 Stars to her for making my stay the ultimate Prague experience :) She provided me with recommendations to great restaurants, directions to everything I needed, even printed my boarding pass! This was by far the best hotel we stayed at in our trip to central Europe. The location was fantastic. The rooms were beautiful and the people great. Breakfast was downstairs and even had a menu, all of which was included. Every night there were fireworks for about 5 minutes at 10 P.M. We had room 34 which was in... More

Location was brilliant easy to walk anywhere in Prague. Very large rooms and comfortable beds. Lovely green area in front of hotel. Breakfast was normal for continental hotels but cooked breakfast was available and was good. Not only were fixtures showing signs of wear but a very large wooden pellmet and two heavy metal curtain poles fell from ceiling inches... More

We had an attic room with skylights which enabled us a great view of the castle. The bed was sooooo comfy and the furnishings very classy. My only suggestion is for a kettle and cups to be available in the room should you want a nice cuppa after a long day of sightseeing in beautiful Prague ;)

Four of us shared a 2 bedroom unit for a few days in September. Love the look of this hotel. Reminded me of hotels from days gone by. Beautifully decorated, high ceilings with beautiful crown moldings, clean and very quiet. Very close to Malostranska tram and subway station, although we walked everywhere. Close to Prague Castle and just a bridge... More

My husband and I spent a week in Prague in mid-july. We stayed at Hotel Trinidad Prague Castle during our trip. The hotel is all we could have asked for in an hotel. The location was great. We were within walking distance of the Old Town Square, the Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, Josefov and the rest of Malá Strana. The... More

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
