Perfect for 3 reasons. First, the location. Almost everything of importance in Prague (The Castle, Charles Bridge, Jewish Cemetery, and the Old Town Square), is within walking distance. There is a tram station and a metro station located just outside the hotel. Second, the rooms. Large air conditioned rooms with high ceilings give a tremendous feeling of space. The property... Excellent location! Cross the street from the hotel, you may take the old castle steps up to visit the castle. Most of the tourist attraction spots are within walking distance. Or, you may take the underground if you don't feel like walking. Again, an underground station is just opposite the hotel. However, the cleanliness of the room is just average.... More

This hotel is situated within walking distance of most of Prague with a tram stop just across the road. There is free wifi which worked perfectly in our rooms. The rooms were very large and included a wardrobe, table, desk and a double bed. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a... More

Very good location. walking distance from the castle and the kampa island and Charles bridge. tram, bus and metro stop right across the road. Facilities in the hotel are pretty basic, as in a bed and breakfast. They do not provide any shampoo, conditioner etc so make sure to carry your own. It seemed only moderately clean. I saw a... We were a bit nervous before arriving because the tariff was quite low. Not a problem as everything in Prague is cheap. This hotel although a bit old, was a pleasant surprise. It is located in a quite street along with a number of other boutique hotels. Our room was quite large and well maintained. It is located close to... More

This was by far the best hotel we stayed at in our trip to central Europe. The location was fantastic. The rooms were beautiful and the people great. Breakfast was downstairs and even had a menu, all of which was included. Every night there were fireworks for about 5 minutes at 10 P.M. We had room 34 which was in... More

Location was brilliant easy to walk anywhere in Prague. Very large rooms and comfortable beds. Lovely green area in front of hotel. Breakfast was normal for continental hotels but cooked breakfast was available and was good. Not only were fixtures showing signs of wear but a very large wooden pellmet and two heavy metal curtain poles fell from ceiling inches... More

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
