Breakfast was okay but the staff was rude and the food definitely not 5 star material. Piano bar is a joke and the bar was always empty in the evenings. The room was really outdated and crawling with spiders and the hotel exterior was full of spider webs. Free Wi-Fi is good service but anyway it should operate well which... More

On arriving at reception of this apparent 5 star hotel I was greeted by a hugely rude staff member. When I questioned him about the way he was talking to me he replied 'this isn't a real 5 star hotel so what you want from me' I think that's enough said ! 3 star max

Just returned from 5 night break at the President in Prague . Hotel is in an excellent location, 10 minute walk to square. We had large room overlooking the river . Room was clean and well equipt and had free wi fi. Breakfast was 'ok' , good selection but hot food was never 'hot' and staff were dour and not... More

My husband and our friends had 2 rooms at this hotel. The location is perfect, right on the river and within an easy walking distance of old town and the town square. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, and trendy. We'd stay here again!

We stayed at the President Hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is in a great location opposite the river and close to the Old Town. We were impressed with the reception desk, even allowed to checkin early. Room was big clean and comfortable, my wife loved the bathroom. Downside was the small breakfast room which always seemed full, meaning a... More

I recently spent 3 nights at the President and was very pleased with the accommodation. The room which was upgraded to a suite was very good, spacious and clean. Breakfast was good, service also good. Staff were very friendly and helpful

It's difficult to know where to start with this review. I always prefer to be positive but in this case, that's a challenge. I stayed here in November for a conference and meetings in Prague, extending my time for an extra day of sightseeing in what is quite probably one of the cities with the most wonderful and beautiful architecture... I stayed 4 nights during my business visit to Prague. Location is very good. Very close to all known old city touristic landmarks. But i have to say service in the hotel is poor. They don't top up the mini bar daily. You need to check your bills properly you may end up paying some drinks you never drink from mini bar.There... More

Stayed for 2 nights in a 'deluxe room' Pros - Able to check in slightly earlier than 3pm as room was ready, staff are polite and fairly helpful (language is still a barrier), room was clean, bathrooms had two showers which was in a bath for one Cons - Jacuzzi not working, out-dated decor and not quality furnishings, no tea/coffee... The hotel is situated in an excellent location. It is just 3 minutes walk from the Jewish Quarter, 5 minutes from the city center and 10 minutes from Charles Bridge. Reception and services suitable but it could be better. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and overlooking a river. Good breakfast and satisfy all tastes Free internet provided. I would... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
