They told me this is a 5 start. Even the reception confirmed that when I asked them directly because I couldn't believe it. Ok the good: The location is great. The price was good (get what you pay for). Lobby is nice, but I don't pick hotels for the lobby. The Bad. The rooms need major updating. The reception staff... More

Old and very bad hotel. They offer 5 stars but not even close to be a 5 star hotel. Breakfast is disgusting. Lobby bar is very bad too. People at the front desk are not very friendly. Rooms are old and dark. Bathrooms are very bad. Location is ok. Not recommended.

I stayed at this hotel last month whilst on an organised holiday. The hotel has a wonderful "Art Deco" style. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. We had an excellent view of the river. We only took breakfast in the hotel but it was very good. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. It was a great start... More

The motel is comfortable, the rooms are nice, & the location is perfect. Although I agree this place should not be a 5 star, I found the accommodations to be good, the room clean, quite & nicely furnished, and staff were friendly. It's funny that a commenter said that the breakfast staff service was poor and he had to find... More

I would not say that this is a 5 star hotel near Vltava river, but everything was ok. Recommended for business meetings / lobby bar was nice for this. Staff friendly as usual, outcoming with everything the guests need.

This hotel was part of our guided package tour with an international travel company with a great reputation. Typically, when this hotel bus pulls up, there is someone to take off the luggage and all the room keys are waiting; they have the routine down. This hotel made a statement from the moment we arrived; they didn't care. The delay... More

The hotel has perfect location - just short walk from the Staromestske namest, trough the most fashionable street in Prague (Parišzka street). It is situated by the river, just next to the boat stop, what makes another advantage of this hotel. Rooms are big, some of them with great view towards the castle or river. I would recommend this hotel... More

This had a great location and good breakfast. The front desk people were quite helpful. The hotel could use some new towels and replace some carpet. The rooms were clean and big so it was easy to get by with old towels.

We were shown to the wrong room and told they had no others. When we complained again they "found" our room. After the first night we were checked out by mistake. We paid cash to Vlad the manager. We were told they had no printer so could we wait for a receipt tomorrow. Stupidly we agreed. When we checked out... More

First time I stayed in this hotel in 2007. Back than it was relatively good, very good service, organised, big clean rooms, amazing breakfast. From that moment I stayed there approximately 15 times, and it is getting worse by every stay, until in 2014, I had to stop and started visiting other hotels in Prague. The oragnisation is very bad,... More
