Just recently I have stayed at President Hotel. My room was 414. It is a huge room with a massive bed. Mine was a short stay, but it would work great for people who visit Prague for a bit longer. The bathroom has both bathtub and a shower. Breakfast is good but not amazing. Staff nice and friendly. Concierge was... More

Great location and fantastic breakfast buffet. Staff were helpful and room clean and comfortable. I would skip a Thai massage from the spa. It was like a 3 year old rubbing your shoulders. Not Thai at all.

We stayed in this hotel with a Trafalgar tour in early June for 3 nights. Our room was spacious and the amenities were adequate. The location is ideal for exploring Prague. Elevators required a room card to be activated. The halls had a funky smell. The beds were comfortable. The biggest problem was that our room was very warm and... More

I stayed here during a Trafalgar tour (05-07 June 2015). The room itself was rather spacious as was the bathroom. From an initial perspective, the hotel looked like an excellent choice ... BUT the fatal flaw became readily apparent at nightfall. The June weather was hotter than normal, in the high 80's and low 90's Fahrenheit. When touring on vacation,... More

The hotel is approx 30 min from the hotel. We called the hotel a couple of days before our arrival and booked tranfers to and from the airport to the hotel. The cost was 40 euros each way and we were 6 adults. the hotel is right in the centre of all the night life and designer stores. The breakfast... More

We stayed 3 nights in late May 2015 as part of a weekend city break package deal. The hotel is well located by the river and only about 6 or 8 minutes walk from the Old Town square and a ten minute walk along the river to the famous old Charles Bridge. The building has been refurbished to a reasonable... More

Stayed for four nights and could not fault the hotel or staff. OK it is not 5 star but room was spacious and the bathroom was large and was perfectly adequate bearing in mind that most of the time was out sightseeing. Staff were polite and cannot understand previous review with regards to uniform; staff were easily identifiable. Hotel was... More

Cigarette smoke everywhere! Most employees have no uniform so can't really tell who is a real employee! Horrible air conditioning! No ventilation in hallways! Filthy elevators! Not anywhere close to 4 or 5 star rating. Carpets have dust flying off them! Curtains r ripped!

Good prices, good room, good breakfast and good staff. My experience from this hotel. Nothing more or less needed to say about it, I am only writing on to fill in the 200 characters minimum review quota

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
