The hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance of most areas of interest. The breakfast buffet had plenty to chose from. We enjoyed our holiday there. The only criticism is that the hotel could do with a bit of a refurb.

I booked a two night stay here for me and my mother. We paid extra for a river view room. On arriving to our room the river could only be seen if you leant outside the window, a very small part of the river too. This was by no means a river view. We went to reception to request a... More

The hotel is a bit faded but we had a lovely suite with a great view.In need of a refurb. Bed was enormous and very comfortable.Heating was good and had kettle for a cuppa. Had one problem with the safe and they sent a guy up immediately - no probs after that. Good WiFi connection (essential these days) Staff were... More

Stayed here for a few nights after a wonderful AMA Waterways cruise. This hotel stay was part of our package. I would like to point out that AMA usually contracts with a different hotel, but unfortunately for our trip the other hotel could not accommodate the group. Since AMA is a luxury river cruise line, the choice of this hotel... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. Great location, comfortable bed, clean room, good breakfast but that's about it. The safe didn't work but we didn't bother with it anyway, air conditioning was practically non existent we opened the window to let some air in but it was too noisy and too many insects came in. There was a kettle and two... More

I arrived at hotel as part of a group tour. I was traveling with family and wanted our rooms to be in close proximity to each of us and was assigned rooms 3 floors apart. When I requested changed, desk clerk gave me hard time and was extremely rude. I requested change through my tour director who was able to... More

Definitely not a 5 star hotel. The room was cleaned but in general it feels neglected. Fabrics both in the room and the lounge look definitely dirty. The carpet on the 5th floor where we were staying was very dirty and smelly so it was unpleasant to walk to the hotel. The internet worked fine. Although many people complain about... More

Great location, great room, fantastic breakfast included in price. Only two negatives I came across, wifi is very weak in the room and a/c high speed was similar to very low speed. The beds were very comfortable. But again, the location is perfect for all the key sights.

The air conditioning in this hotel is virtually non existent. At the highest setting 24 hours a day you still cannot get the room to cool to an acceptable level. And apparently that is one of the good rooms. Other people had rooms where the air conditioning didn't work at all. The other problem I that in the summer time... More

Room was not lux but comfortable and clean with a view of the river (#331). Bathroom was small but functional. The hotel is in a wonderful location near the old town square (and the Charles Bridge) where there are many restaurants with outside seating to people watch and wait for the hourly astrological clock short show. Lunch at the White... More
